Classic Car Registration - RHD 1989 Toyota Hilux with Lifted Mods and Wheels
I’m looking at a 1989 RHD Hilux with some non-original mods: suspension lift + aftermarket wheels.
RTA classic car registration requires “authentic/original condition.” My main question is: does a lift kit fail inspection outright, or is it case-by-case? Is the suspension change a dealbreaker?
Has anyone had any similar experience on this? Do I have any chance before I progress? Are there any other considerations I need to be aware of?
