Painful reoccurrence

Went to the ER for severe uti (drenched in sweat with fever) doc treated as kidney infection. I am on day 4 of cipro but I have been doing a lot of research. I was treated for BV last month and then my uti progressed that I do not know how long I had it for. I got a culture back a couple days ago and saw I had group b strep bacteria from uti. I am curious about treating my partner for anything, and if we had sex again would I just get BV again, and then another uti from my own vaginal discharge ? I’m so confused and nervous about this because I have never been in such pain my whole life and where I came close to being sepsis and so Ill. I also have struggled with hormonal birth control my whole life and have had an iud in for 2 years now and also read that strings can contribute to bacteria growth. What do I do from here, I know I will need more antibiotics because I still don’t feel great and know it won’t be over within the next couple days. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you 🙏🏼

12 weeks post op swelling

Hello I am 12 weeks now and have been cleared to work out and swim my question is this swelling? It’s been hot here in socal could this be the issue? I feel like I was flat a few weeks ago then the past two it’s been an issue and not going down. Right above my belly button and also mons area

Wound opened up

Now I’m freaking out really what do I do? I called my surgeon just waiting on a call back. I’m already covering with silver dressing but don’t want it to open up even more. I’m scared. That little black thing is like a scab or stitch. If I pull it kinda hurts so idk. I’m sad ☹️

Don’t scare me please but why is it like this

I thought I was going to be in the clear but with my luck, I know I never have great outcomes. I am 19 days post op and can’t wrap my head around the fact that I am healing much much slower and worse than most people on here. I have been in contact with my surgeon and he sees me every week, but I just don’t know if I’ve been butchered and what to do from here. I am having severe anxiety issues and I don’t want to be scared but my surgeon was not concerned about my healing and says everything looked normal.

Day 1 recovery had my surgery today!!

I did it yall! I made it though!! I was so nervous having panic attacks for 2 weeks prior and I’m so so glad I have got it done. Any advice I will take honestly how am I supposed to sleep I HATE sitting or being angled. How was your first shower? I have my shower chair ready and have already been using it lol. I have so many pillows around me for support and I purchased a recovery pillow set for my bed and it is helping a lot! My drains aren’t filling up much at all maybe once or twice it got full which I’m happy about and surgeon said it was normal. I had such a good doctor and anesthesiologist I think he made my experience so much better by being calm and understanding and direct and just so much personality from the whole crew. Praying that everything continues to go smooth. I don’t have much pain from the incision, but the MR is extremely painful and sore, really no joke. I have been taking my pain meds and some muscle relaxers on the side because it really hurts and it helps. Thankful for this sub and all the others who have shared experiences good and bad, thank you for being so helpful.

New infestation

Hello I live in a really really old mobile home for 30 years we never had a problem but we have terrible neighbors so I suspect they could be the issue my question is alpine wsg is not available to me to buy I need to know how I can get this stuff. What company uses this product? I have bought the gel baits so as soon as they arrive we will set them near the kitchen sink. My mom noticed them right next to the sink and stove. I suspect they might be in the fridge motor because it makes weird noises sometimes but damn we never had this issue and I feel really disgusted defeated and feel like it’s only gonna get extremely worse due to so many holes and cracks in our old home. We are poor so we are trying our best. Any advice would help. I appreciate the general guide on this sub and will be following the recommendations on it.
