Going through IVF but company is going through restructuring, should I start a more demanding job but with more job security?
I am going through IVF and company recently announced restructuring and likely my position will be eliminated within 6 months. My current job offered good severance package and a retention bonus but will only last so long. I just got an offer from one of the big four and my scheduled FET will be overlapping for the planned starting date. Should I stay with the current company for more anticipated hours 9-5 for now, waiting to get laid off and collect the severance and focus on IVF and future pregnancy or jumping over to big four to get more job security and paid parental benefits?
