Been filling out the Bowie section for a while, and these three finally landed as the originals I actually wanted: first US pressings of Aladdin Sane (1973), Station to Station (1976, RCA APL1-1327), and “Heroes”(1977).

Which would you keep if you could only have one? Which should I hunt next?

This would be the most difficult choice for me. All essential. But I would have to go with DSotM. I cannot picture life without this on my shelf.

Released one year before Nirvana‘s Nevermind. Both bands came from the Seattle area scene. Both had the same A&R person, Gary Gersh. Dear 23 is just as worthy as Nevermind IMO and I listen to it a lot more.
