First time i heard it was on Mark & Lard while at work.. was everything you wanted it to be.. blew away all the pretenders.. i've never stopped playing it.. and it still sounds brilliant!! see you on My Star! 🙌
Hey folks, I like to find and purchase old vinyl records that have absolutely no recording of their media anywhere online. Today, I ripped and uploaded a video of the first ever (as far as I'm aware) vinyl audiobook of Sammy The Seal, a pretty classic mid-century children's book. Never been on this sub before, so if this isn't the place for this, feel free to remove my post! I'll link the video to this post in case anyone is interested in hearing it themselves, you're likely to be the first people to hear it in decades. Sammy The Seal Audiobook on Vinyl
Hey All,
I’m going to Portugal in a week, specifically Lisbon and Porto. Looking for recommendations on records shops and albums to look into. I like vibey stuff, beachy music and Japanese City Pop & AOR these days. Thanks!
...I remember buying the cassette version for my new walkman!! I was walking the mean streets (usually out of my nut!) with this dark masterpiece ringing in my ears over and over.. and have lit up rooms with this a good few times too.. people forget just how good it is... not me.. all you other fkrs.. ✌🏻😏
all my records are THIS dusty. I am almost running out of record cleaning solution bc of cleaning them this way EVERY TIME I PLAY THEM. I desperately need antistatic inner sleeves and outer sleeves but in Romania I have no good options + they are HELLA EXPENSIVE. I also have an antistatic brush that js makes it worse
Reggae Got Soul — Toots & The Maytals
Always been a favourite track and album of mine. Toots & The Maytals were absolutely cooking around this time, knocking out album after album that was damn near unmissable — and somehow it still sounds just as vital today.
Toots is good for what ails you!! There’s something about that voice, that rhythm, that sheer warmth and life in the music. And it sounds even better when you're riding along at the crest of a wave.
Reggae got soul. Yes it does!!! 🙌
Came across this baby and want to know if anyone who’s within the know, when this little puppy was released. No googling
These are a couple of my Fathers records which he left for me. Obviously not going to sell them, but just curious as to their values. The record in image two has faded signatures above each band member. Cheers!
Just picked this up...used to have this in my collection. Really love the interplay of the musicians and I would listen to Michael Brecker doing the ABCs song. Sounds great and as fresh as ever.
I found these records while cleaning and i don't know if they are rare or valuable since i'm not a collector.
They are 45RPM, mostly from the 50s-60s and all italian.
The records are well kept and almost perfect, while some covers have ruined a bit with time.
Could someone tell me if these are worth something or just some common music discs?
Thank you!
We've all got that one album that just feels right on vinyl. Maybe it's the warmer sound, the artwork, or just the whole ritual of putting the record on!
Which albums do you think genuinely sound better on vinyl than they do on streaming or other formats?
I bought the legion of boom vinyl cover which had 3 copies of Serato scratch live.....I get home and discover 1 copy of scratch....and the woodpecker..... and some peace of mind!!!!!!!
Literally a mind fuck of unexpected-ness.
Also involved a scratched copy of Eagles greatest hits.

This record is a hybrid pressing with side 1s inscription on the dead wax is XSM151431-1D and side 2 is XSM151432-2A and was produced in pitman New Jersey I thought this was a cool find today
Without agonizing over it, I flipped one record from each partition in my collection. Some classic faves, current obsessions, random picks. What's in your collection??
it’s so pretty and i’m so curious
