Where to sell records?
I inherited my grandmother's vintage album collection. Mainly Elvis and country 1960's-1980's. I'm estimating it be a around a $500 collection where would be the best place to sell it. I didn't want to do ebay because I didn't want to message with the logistics of shipping albums. I listed in my local swap shop groups but no one has reached out. There are no local record stores in my area. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Just bought Terrapin Station and Bought a sealed first press of Go To Heaven
Just bought this record brand new yesterday and it’s already messed up
I played it once on my fluance rt 82 with the 2m blue ortofon. Did I set this up wrong so it’s damaging my record? I’ve attached a video of it playing as well. So confused
Best way to store vinyl
Upright? Flat? House of cards? Any input.
Designing a storage shelf/rack. Thanks
Upcycled vintage leather record cases

Worth anything?
Hello! I wasn’t quite sure where to post this at, so I hope this is alright! I picked up this 50th anniversary Preservation Hall record player (excuse the dust) from a Goodwill for like $20 a few years ago. I haven’t been able to find another one online. I’m wondering if it’s worth anything or just a cool find. Thanks!
His vibration will live on...
Has to be in top 5 Manchester albums, and that's just one of the lists it should be in.. if you don't know this, you really need to do yourself a favour.. it's miles better than the stuff you know.. 🙃✌🏻
Think my stylus is screwed
I swept front to back to get some stubborn dirt off and now I think the cantilever is too low any advice would be much appreciated. My stylus is now picking up an awful lot of surface noise on some records too however the sound has improved but surface noise is terrible
Not Social Media, Not Discogs & Not Reddit
Looking for more people to chat with online when it comes to things we're "digging" lately. A lot of record collectors involved so far, sharing what they're spinning day to day or live shows they're going to. When I'm bored I'll hop on at night and share what I'm listening to or attempt to play chess or talk tv to anyone who's down. Reddit and social media are a little too broad for me so I like to keep the space here: https://discord.gg/gFp7sVMK
Some of us are in the midwest, some the PNW...and some across the pond in the UK. This is virtual chill pad...and more of a figurative stadium for people to gather together & share what they're digging lately...
Got a couple records im proud of today!
I got 2 records today, both first pressings. The first record is by Herman's Hermits, and its their "Theres a kind of hus all over the world". The second is the Beatles's "Abbey Road". Both US first pressings, the Herman's one is 1967 and Abbey Road is a 1969 Jacksonville pressing.
Herman's Hermits holds a special place in my heart as both my grandma and grandpa used to listen to them alot, and now i have a pressing of one of the records they liked.
Abbey road is just iconic obv.
Total was $70.
Rory Live!
A great way go start the day off. Live Rory Gallagher never fails to please the ears. Check Shirt Wizard, a 1977 set, features a couple of tunes from his newly released Calling Card album.
Help me find this vinyl record
This might be a long shot but I’m trying to find this vinyl record single: Nothing takes the place of you by Prince buster. The only one that I’ve found is over $100 and I’d ideally like to spend less than that lol. If someone can help me find it that would be greatly appreciated as I’m trying to get it as a gift for someone. Thank you!
Pat came... top start to the week!
Woo hoo! Love an early delivery.. top marks Pat!
3rd copy of this.. first time on vinyl, definitely got at least 2 or 3 more Cure albums to get to be content on that front. What do you think, what are the others i must own?! ✌🏻🙃
EDIT: That'll teach me, sold as vg+, its in an awful state 😖😡.. ☹️
