Came back from a week out of town to an all-time delivery drop of records to open and spin. Picked up the Rough Trade editions of Lemon Jelly and Sigur Rós. Mr. Jack White sent me his latest from Third Man and a Discogs delivery came through with Faith No More. I’ll be holed up for a couple days spinning these. Cheers!
Did anyone else see a comet out over the ocean this morning? Vacationing in town, caught this at about 5:40 AM. Is this common in St. Augustine?
It endlessly fascinates me that I can put on a record that was pressed damn near half a century ago (46 years!) that just leaps off my speakers like it was made yesterday.
Tracked down an OG Killing Joke. Saved some $$$ since the sleeve was pretty beat up. Couldn’t care less, it sounds fantastic.
