I just got this helectron used and I’m trying to add foam pads underneath the seat but these two black screws refuse to come out. I tried just using the Philips head normally and unscrewing them counterclockwise but that doesn’t work. Then I tried using a Philips head to apply light pressure in between the screw and the black plastic part of the seat. Finally I tried just lightly pulling up on the seat itself while I unscrew. Nothing has budged. They just keep spinning but not actually coming up. Any ideas?

In this photo I am completely relaxed 5’10 and a half, 160. I want to compete in mens physique in a show that’s in August 2027 but I don’t know if I have genetics to go far in these categories(mens and classic), I’m probably going to compete no matter what but I just wanna know if bodybuilding is something I can pursue in the future or if it’s something to leave alone. I have been training for almost 10 months natty.
