CT: Fearful Threshold (Free to adopt for OCs)

The Fearful Treshold technique allows the user to designate abstract spaces and is transformed into an innate domain that is purely mental. However, each Treshold must have a name that defines the Treshold's timing. For example, a Threshold might be defined "The moment before they commit." When caught in a Threshold, the target's body freezes in the action defined by the user while they are mentally trapped in a manefestation of one of their greatest fears. The target must escape the manefestation or conquer their fear before they can return to their body. Each minute in the Threshold is 20 seconds in the Real World.

Anyone have ideas for a domain? (If anyone wants to use this for an OC, which I doubt anyone will, but if you do just credit me.)

OC - Kamo Harukaze (my first oc so ik it's gonna be buns)

Age: 15
Grade: Special
Appearance:

Her hair is a dark burgundy-black, but in the sun it looks red. She wears it in a loose bun atop her head. Her eyes are deep-set and maroon. She is 6'1" with a lean build and a high straight posture. Her skin is pale with black veins visible through the skin on her neck from prolonged use of her Cursed Technique. High cheekbones, a sharp jaw, thin lips usually set in a neutral line. She wears a deep navy or black modified kimono-style jacket worn over a high-collared inner layer which covers her entire neck with sleeves that are just over her hands when at rest.

Personality:

Harukaze carries herself with the kind of discipline expected of a Kamo, but where most of her clan read as cold, she reads as indifferent. Not cruel, just genuinely unbothered. She will hold a conversation, joke drily, answer questions honestly; she simply does not go out of her way for people. Warmth exists in her but it is given quietly, never announced, and only after a long time. In battle she is methodical to the point of unsettling. She does not rush or taunt or emote. She just works, and watching her fight feels less like watching a sorcerer and more like watching someone finish a task they have done a hundred times before.

Biography:

Kamo Harukaze entered Jujutsu High later than most students her age, the Jujutsu Society having spent over a year debating whether to enroll her or simply deploy her directly. They enrolled her, nominally, though her attendance is inconsistent and nobody pushes the issue hard.

She was born the third child of a Kamo branch family, which by clan tradition meant a supporting role rather than a leading one. Her cursed energy was detected early but Tithe manifested unusually late, closer to twelve than the typical age, and the clan could not categorize it cleanly alongside their blood manipulation legacy. It was too quiet, too dependent on environment, too strange. She was given resources and largely left alone to figure it out, which she did.

By fourteen she had been involved in the clearing of multiple curtained zones that older and higher graded sorcerers had left unresolved. Her special grade promotion came before her first year at Jujutsu High was finalized, which made her enrollment paperwork awkward for administrative reasons nobody has fully sorted out.

At fifteen she is one of the youngest special grades on record and is visibly unbothered by this. She attends classes when she is not on assignment, sits near windows when possible, and does not volunteer information about herself. Her teachers find her cooperative enough and quietly difficult to read. Her peers find her either intimidating or forgettable depending on whether she has looked at them yet.

The dark vein-like markings that trace up her neck have been present since she was thirteen. She has not mentioned them to anyone at the school.

Overall Skill Level:

Her grade reflects her technique's potency more than her overall combat ability. She is devastating in the right environment but has real gaps in close quarters, reverse cursed technique, and experience against other special grades. High ceiling, not yet there.

Physical Strength:

Her strength is not something to be misjudged. Despite her long-range capability, her physical strength is substantial. It is enough to crack stone with a punch, with an output of about 7,000 Newtons. Her H2H combat style, however, utilizes her quick speed to overwhelm opponents with a flury of semi-strong blows.

Speed/Reflexes:

Her maximum speed is greatly contributed to by her Cursed Energy. This allows her to move at a maximum of 100 mph, though this cannot be sustained for any longer than about 20 seconds. Her fastest sustained speed is about 65 mph. As for reflexes, she has reflexes of about 2 milliseconds on average.

Durability/Endurance:

Based on the amount of time she's been allowed to Reap (we'll get back to this in the CT section), her durability scales. She's not extremely durable to begin with, but as she's allowed to gather and condense cursed energy, she can build up enough of a shielding to be virtually invulnerable to non-cursed attacks.

Cursed Energy Capacity:

Harukaze's space for cursed energy is extremely large, but a vast majority of that space cannot be naturally regenerated. the only way she can fill her stores to the max is by Reaping the remaining energy to suplement what she cannot acrue in a natural fashion.

Cursed Technique:

Kamo Harukaze did not inherit the hereditary technique of blood manipulation so prized by the Kamo clan. Instead, she was born with a unique technique known as Tithe that has two main parts.

  1. Reap

Harukaze is able to drain the life force of surrounding plants and convert it into Cursed Energy.

  1. Sow

Harukaze materializes her cursed energy into physical bolts that she can shoot as a homing missile. Based on different amounts of charge on a shot, it does more damage or can even become a beam of energy if she has acrued enough.

Extension Techniques:

  1. Dead Bloom

She uses the energy from draining plants around her to animate dead plant matter into a shikigami-like construct. Based on the amount of matter animated, the Dead Bloom becomes stronger.

  1. Parasitic Seed

Harukaze blasts a piece of dead plant matter imbued with Cursed Energy into an opponent. This plant matter leeches Cursed Energy from the affected thing. If left in long enough, it may even make it impossible for the effected entity to utilize their Cursed Technique.

Maximum Output Extension Techniques:

  1. Devouring Bloom

She summons a large animate mass of compressed dead wood, root, and spirit residue. Moves fast for its size, hits hard, and passively drains anything it makes contact with, feeding energy back to her. Lasts until destroyed or dismissed.

  1. Hollow Root

Harukaze compresses dead plant matter saturated with drained cursed energy and fires it into a target with enough force to embed beneath the skin. Once inside it acts as a parasite, continuously leeching cursed energy from the target and feeding it back to her. Given enough time the root burrows into the target's cursed energy pathway, making technique use inconsistent, then unreliable, then impossible entirely

Maximum Technique: Last Rite

Harukaze releases every unit of stored energy at once in a single perfectly compressed beam of withered cursed energy. No spread, no splash, just a narrow column of total annihilation directed at one target. The charge time is roughly three seconds during which she is completely stationary and visible. The beam itself lasts less than one. Whatever it hits does not get a second chance. The cost is proportional to what she has stored. A fully charged Last Rite after a long draining fight is catastrophic. A Last Rite fired on low reserves is still dangerous but survivable for a sufficiently tough opponent. She cannot use it twice in a fight under any normal circumstances. After use she is left almost entirely drained, visibly deteriorated, and essentially mortal until she can refuel. She does not use it unless she is certain it ends things.

Imaginary Technique: Genesis

Instead of draining life and outputting destruction, Harukaze pours cursed energy outward as raw generative force, accelerating growth and forcing life into things that should not be alive. Vines erupt and expand to enormous size in seconds. Dead wood reconstitutes. The ground fractures under sudden root systems. Constructs grown under Genesis are vastly larger and more durable than anything Devouring Bloom produces. The catch is that Genesis consumes her reserves at a punishing rate and she cannot drain while using it since the technique runs in the opposite direction. It is a pure expenditure with no replenishment, and she cannot sustain it for long before the physical toll becomes apparent, the markings on her neck spreading visibly during use.

Domain Expansion: Bountiful Harvest

The domain manifests as an endless field of rolling hills beneath a wide open sky, dense with overgrown grass and wildflowers in every direction. It is quietly beautiful in a way that feels immediately wrong given the context. There is no visible boundary, no obvious threat. It just looks like somewhere peaceful.

The sure hit is total. Within the domain Reap applies to every living thing present without restriction, meaning Harukaze can drain opponents, allies, and flora simultaneously and passively. The distinction between plant and person becomes irrelevant inside Bountiful Harvest. Everyone bleeds energy into her at a continuous rate simply by existing in the space, and the abundant plant life across the hills provides a secondary stream of fuel on top of that. She enters the domain already pulling from every direction at once.

The longer the domain stays active the more withered the landscape becomes, the hills slowly greying and the flowers collapsing as she draws from them. By the end of a prolonged activation the field looks like a wasteland. This serves as a rough visual indicator of how much she has accumulated and how close the domain is to having exhausted its secondary fuel source.

Opponents who recognize what is happening may attempt to minimize cursed energy output entirely to slow the drain, but the domain does not require them to use cursed energy to pull from them.

Personal Cursed Tool: the Leaping Heron Scythe

A Kamo clan cursed tool passed down to Harukaze, the Leaping Heron Scythe is a traditional full length scythe with a dark lacquered handle and a pale curved blade. Its only special property is the ability to shift between its full scythe form and a pocket watch at the user's will, making it completely inconspicuous when not in use. She keeps it on her person at all times in watch form. In combat it functions as a high quality cursed tool with no additional mechanics beyond its exceptional construction and the cursed energy conductivity standard to all cursed tools
