Help with a shortage
I'm chasing an electrical short that I can't figure out.
The LH TAIL/ILLUM 10A fuse keeps blowing only on the driver side. At first it would last a few days, but now it blows immediately.
When the fuse blows I lose:
- Interior illumination lights
- Front parking/DRL lights
- Rear running lights
Here's everything I've already done:
- Replaced the driver headlight because I thought it was the problem (it wasn't).
- Replaced the right outer taillight because I thought it was the problem (it wasn't).
- Unplugged the left outer taillight.
- Unplugged the left inner trunk taillight.
- Unplugged the right outer taillight.
- Unplugged the right inner trunk taillight.
- Disconnected the entire trunk lid harness.
- Third brake light is disconnected.
- Found one wire with exposed copper in the trunk harness and repaired/insulated it.
- Fuse still blows immediately
Has anyone with Q60 had this issue and if anyone knows what this could be please let me know it’s annoying.
