As far as we are concerned only way to have any meaningful progression towards becoming elden lord is to aquire great runes.

And only way to do that ofcours is to kill demigods.

So how did Vyke and Bernahl get be nearly elden lords?

I guess they only needed two great runes, so which two?

The most obvious condidates are godrick and Rennala

So did they just died before? REALLY? that seems pretty important Lore details that would probably be very important to the people of this universe.

Rennala is not really a conches being anymore so whatever, but for Godrick, the fact that two randos just get to kill him, AND THEN HE CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD. TWICE! and just because the lord of stormvail again is something i think should have been mentioned somewhere. Does have no effect on the way he see himself and the world? And others see him?

But more importantly...Hoed the hell do this people still have their rune?

One of the stable and important parts of the 40k is the very negative attitude that humanity have against different kind of technologies. Be it xenos or invitations, which is mainly because of Adaptus mechanicus.

But since when that attitude get that prominent?

Was it even a thing in the unification wars? Was it started because of accumulation of mechanicum into imperium? Is the Admac monopoly on technology something that came about in 40k or was something that was stablished in the first years of imperium?

If it was why the hell should emperor agree with it?

What was Emperor's attitude on xeno tech?

I guess ir couldn't be that negative because golden throne exist, but was there any kinda of stigma against inventing or using alian tech in his era?
