There will be VERY limited parking near the fireworks site on July 3. So if you show up at the last minute to see the fireworks at 9 pm, you will have a lot of problems finding parking. Plan ahead and park in a garage. Consider it will be really hot out there, no matter what time of day.

Planning on coming to see the fireworks in Portsmouth? The City has posted "No Parking, Noon to 10 PM" on many of the side streets near the South Mill Pond. Everywhere. So please plan ahead. Come early and park in one of the garages. Or maybe just skip it this year, it will be beastly hot out there anyway.
