Apartment Leases

What does everyone think about Landlords being required to include a list of lawsuits against them as well as the most recent building inspection as an addendum to the lease?

I feel like residents have a right to know. Had I known all of the legal lore about my Landlord, I never would have rented from them. I googled before I moved in. I googled a lot. Then about 3 months after signing, I started hearing about lawsuit after lawsuit against the company. They pull tenant bank records, credit history and references. In the interest of transparency, it only makes sense.

Also, if anyone wants to build an app that does this....... couldn't hurt

Ecuador came to party ...

I thought I was going to go have a nice leisurely stroll in the harbor. Ecuador had other ideas. Ecuador came to party. They entered the harbor with chupacabra and seaman dancing on their Masts! Rad! Peru ❤️ too!

Salley's Redemption Arc

Rewatching the last season and Salley's edit doesn't have a lot of redeeming qualities. Does the bar star get a redemption arc this season? If so what should it be? I can't come up with anything....

Recent Reviews -Baltimore Apts

Has anyone lived at/been to the Centerpointe/8 Howard/the 305 or Preston Gardens at The Standard? Pros? Cons?

If you haven't set foot in the buildings or personally contacted them since 1/1/2026 please don't comment. Don't need that. I also don't need the guide that one redditor posts to every single request for apartment information, please don't post.

🚂 Baltimore Trains Serious Question

I live in a part of the red area- Was anyone else along these tracks woken up at 3:30am by the Train 🚂 🚆 🚂 Train Horn?

What were they blowing that Horn for?

I've lived here a year I swear it's not been this loud this. I feel like it's not the kind of thing you can report, right? Am I the only one?

Baltimore City Transplants, have you noticed

That when you pay with cash in Baltimore City there's like a rounding thing with change and it's always in the customers favor.

I used to manage a Brewery and there was a group of people that were always like 5-10 cents from the next dollar and we would just round down, because we didn't .90-.99 cents in change. I thought it was just that place.

But I noticed that when I go to buy something, if I pay with cash and it's any part of a dollar - even if it's $1.05 or $1.55 for example, people say the total is $1.00 and refuse the change. It's happened at the liquor store, a 7-11, and even Target. Is this a Baltimore thing or do people just pity me and assume I'm poor because I pay with cash?

It's kind of sweet.

Yes I know waitresses and bartenders have done it since the dawn of time. This is different

Help! I need Doctors/specialists

I need recommendations for the following specialty areas:

  1. Obgyn

  2. Nuerosurgeon

  3. Dermatologist

  4. Pain management

  5. An internist. My primary care isn't awful but for everything I have going on, an osteopath is a glorified air traffic controller.

I lived her for a year, I don't really have friends yet, please help. The Nuerosurgeon/pain management are for a Degenerative Joint Disease with hyper mobility and a snow boarding injury. Hopkins doesn't take my insurance so they're out.

Baltimore City only please, I have very limited mobility.

I live in FedHill/SoBo and there is a massive porch Piracy problem. First, I have noticed that there are certain cars that follow delivery trucks and with all the cameras, how have the police not done better?

Second - in FedHill I see people put things they don't want outside all the time. It's not horrible either, things could be easily resold on Ebay/FB marketplace if someone was really struggling. - Why do the porch pirates never pick up the free stuff too?

It's like they don't want the parlay for betting against their own criminal self.
