Vegan in Samui

Never too late to ask given that we are already in Samui. Looking for recommendations for Vegan places. We are staying in Lamai but don't mind the grab ride for a good meal.

Yes, I've got a list from Google but can do with recos.

Edit - Thank you so much for the recos! Some new names spotted, will definitely check them out!

EVAN's candid interview with LA Times

The more you read the more the depth of his thinking reveals itself. EVAN is not your just another 24 year old. He thinks deeply and that's what makes him a cut above others!

What if something happens to the agent

I don't mean to be morbid or wish ill on anyone, may everyone remain healthy and live for a long time to come.

This one aspect has got me thinking and I was wondering if there is anyone who has any insights on this.

I am taking a policy via Agent and he is really good. That said the agent also has his share of health issues (not too critical from what I know and I may not know everything). He is older than us. He operates alone and doesn't have a company.

What happens if later in life we want to help and he is not available for whatever reasons.

Curious about this as agents are also human.

How do I solve this situation - Niva Bupa renewal vs new policy

I have a Niva Bupa Reassure 2.0 policy with 10 lakh cover that is scheduled for renewal in September 2026. I had got this policy directly. I have not made any claims so I am assuming I have gained no claim bonus. Now that I am set for a renewal I am trying to understand how best to navigate this situation -

Shift from Direct to a renewal via agent. I know most would say, direct is a better option, but recently we had a family emergency and this agent (who is an agent for Niva Bupa) helped my father work through the processes to the extent that we were able to get most of the treatment cost reimbursed and it was not a small amount. He has been my father's agent for a while and now I want to move through him. This is my personal preference but I am told Niva Bupa wont allow moving from direct to an agent.

If you have done or have any experience in something similar, please share. Thank you.

Niva Bupa Reassure 2.0 vs Niva Bupa 3.0 Black Variant Family Floater Plan

I currently have a Reassure 2.0 with a 10 lakh covers that I bought three years ago. The policy is set for a renewal this September and I am considering upgrading it to 3.0 black variant Family floater plan with my husband added to the policy.

On the face of it 3.0 looks quite good, given that my husband and I are in our 40s. But with insurance companies, the fine print is what matters. Is there anything we should be aware of? or specifically ask for? Please help us make an informed decision.

Thank you

How are you dealing with hairfall in Bangkok?

At this point, I am desperate to try any possible home remedy to reduce my hairfall. I shifted to Bangkok for work about 7 months ago and lately my hairfall has increased so much that it's stressing me out (and possibly leading to more hairfall!) help! Looking for recommendations on what has worked for you?
