Wallpaper settings and matching icon color palettes are coming soon.

A new update will be live at the same old test link in a few hours. This version includes billing integration, so it might be a bit inconvenient. If you're already in the test program, just use a virtual card to complete the purchase. If the virtual card option doesn't show up, try clearing the Play Store app data and try again!

Getting the "Open phone to continue" prompt repeatedly? Here’s a quick fix!

Hi everyone,

If you're encountering an issue where Zflip cover power repeatedly prompts "Open phone to continue" while in use, please check if you have added our app to Samsung Good Lock (or modules like Multistar/Launcher).

Fix: Simply remove Zflip cover power from Good Lock, and the prompt loop should be resolved.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you're still experiencing any issues.

[Update] Z Flip Cover Power v0.2 Release is out! (M3 Redesign, Shizuku Support, Edge Gestures, Dynamic Cutout & UX Fixes)

First of all, I want to apologize for being a bit inactive recently. I’ve been working behind the scenes on a massive overhaul for the v0.2 release. Making so many core changes at once unfortunately introduced quite a few UX bugs, so I spent the extra time squashing those bugs and refining the experience.

Today, I’m excited to finally share a much more stable and polished v0.2 build with all of you!

Z Flip getting native Recents and 3-button navigation? We might not need custom cover launcher apps anymore.

I was watching a video from tech reviewer Duy Luân Dễ Thương and noticed a Z Flip 8 showing a Recents screen and complete 3-button navigation on the cover screen.

This suggests Samsung is finally stepping up and letting users run One UI fully on the outer display. It would be amazing if older generations get this update as well.

Even if native support renders utility apps like ours redundant in the future, I'm still going to do my best to finish and perfect what we've built so far.

Hi everyone,

Quick update: I have just sent out the internal test invitation links for v0.1.6 to all the email addresses submitted through the sign-up form!

Please check your inbox (and your spam folder, just in case) for the invitation link to join.

Why Internal Testing? The app is currently undergoing Google's review process, so I can't launch the official closed/open beta test just yet. Once the review is complete and the beta test becomes available, I would really appreciate your help in downloading and transitioning over to the official beta track!

Quick Note: Make sure you are logged into the Google Play Store with the exact email address you provided in the form to access the download.

Thank you so much for helping me test the app!

Z flip 5 cover power launcher

Hi everyone,

I'm developing an app called Z Flip Cover Power for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 above to run apps and change settings directly from the cover screen.

In the latest v0.1.4 update, I added a screen mirroring feature. I'm looking for beta testers to help test it out and share feedback!

Here is a quick summary of what the app can do:

Screen Mirroring (New in v0.1.4): Mirror the main display onto the cover screen and fully control it using touch gestures (scroll, tap, swipe). Note: This is designed as a fallback/emergency feature for cases where the cover screen normally can't be used—like when system prompts (e.g., USB debugging/connection dialogs) refuse to show on the cover display, or when pairing a new Bluetooth device that requires main-screen interaction.

Windowed Apps Mode: Prevent apps from stretching weirdly on the cover screen's aspect ratio. Choose specific apps to launch in a scaled portrait window that keeps their original proportions.

Auto-Rotate Screen: Automatically rotate the cover screen interface using the phone's sensors.

Samsung Quick Settings Bypass: Long-press native quick settings tiles (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, Sound) on the cover screen to open their full system settings pages directly on the cover display (bypassing Samsung's "Open phone" prompt).

Custom Quick Settings & Notifications Widget: A custom widget featuring quick toggles for Auto-Rotate, Screen Projection, Sound Mode (Ring/Vibrate/Silent), System Recents, and Settings, plus an integrated notification feed with "Clear All" support.

Launcher Widget Controls: Customize the launcher grid (3, 4, or 5 columns / list view), toggle sort modes (alphabetical vs custom), search apps, and filter by custom categories (Games, Music, Work, etc.).

Cassette Media Player: A retro cassette-themed widget to control music playback (Spotify, YouTube, etc.).

How to join the Beta:

Should I use a form for everyone to sign up for the test? I'm honestly not quite sure what the best approach is to gather testers, so for now, I'll just leave the form link right here:

Setup:

Install -> Enable Accessibility permission (needed for touch mapping, auto-rotate, and quick settings bypass) -> Enable Notification Access -> Add the cover screen widget.

[Update] Z Flip Cover Power: List view, deep-linking notifications, and Quick Settings long-press

Hi everyone, I’m back with a progress update on my custom launcher for the Z Flip cover screen. I've added a few more features to make the experience more functional:

New features:

UI Options: Added a minimal List view to toggle with the Grid view. You can now sort apps however you want or switch to Alphabetical order.

Floating Control: A new floating overlay to quickly access Recent Apps, Notifications, and Auto-rotate.

Custom Notifications: I tried tweaking the stock notifications but couldn't get it right, so I built a custom system. Now, tapping a notification opens the app directly to the specific message thread.

Quick Panel Deep-links: This is now finished. You can long-press the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Network toggles in the stock Quick Panel to jump straight into their full settings pages.

Navigation: The floating control bar stays visible even when the default Quick Panel is open, so you can still access recents or rotate.

Check out the video to see how it works. I'm still refining things, so let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions!

Working on a new custom launcher for the Z Flip cover screen! What do you think?

I’ve been working on a custom launcher specifically designed for the Z Flip cover screen to make it more functional. I wanted something that felt more like a "mini phone" experience.

Current features (as shown in the video):

Auto-rotation support: The UI adapts as you rotate the device.

Recent Apps: Easily switch between your last used applications.

Favorite Apps: A dedicated section for your most-used apps for quick access.

What’s coming next:

I’m currently working on integrating:

Quick Panel integration: The ability to tap on quick settings to trigger actions or open apps.

Notification support: Directly opening apps from cover screen notifications for a seamless workflow.

I’d love to hear your thoughts! What other features would make the cover screen more useful for you?

Maybe I will name it z flip cover power
