Need help: TU Chemnitz application marked as “Temporarily Excluded”

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced their application status changing to “Temporarily excluded” in the TU Chemnitz application portal?

My application for the Bachelor’s Foundations in Data Science (Winter Semester 2026/27) is currently showing this status, and I’m trying to understand what it means or what might have caused it.

If anyone has had the same status or knows the reason, I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you!

Uni-Assist says I’m not eligible, but their eligibility checker says I am. Need advice.

I’m from India with:
63.5% in Class 12
APS Certificate
BCA (4 semesters completed, CGPA 7.0)

Uni-Assist rejected my application, saying I’m not eligible for admission or Studienkolleg due to the new 70% requirement.

However, the Uni-Assist eligibility checker says that with 50%+ in Class 12 and at least 1 successful academic year, I qualify for direct subject-restricted admission.

Has anyone faced this recently? Is this a mistake, or have the rules changed and the checker not been updated?

Any help would be appreciated.

I’m an Indian student and I’m very confused about my Uni-Assist evaluation.

My profile:

63.5% in Class 12
APS Certificate
BCA (4 semesters completed, CGPA 7.0)

Uni-Assist rejected my application, saying I’m not eligible for admission or Studienkolleg due to the new 70% requirement.
