no recipe cause they weren’t great haha
(flavors from left to right;) wildberry, blueberry, hot fudge sundae, and brown sugar cinnamon. any more requests are welcome!!
here’s some photo of them in my ears since yall asked for better pictures :)
which flavors should i make next? (strawberry milkshake on the left, frosted strawberry on the right :))
16g…but the jewelry wouldn’t fit into the bottom of the needle so i had to do a little stretch with a 14g needle…so that sucked a bit haha 🥲…turned out great though! love the placement and i think it’s pretty good for an at-home piercing 😁!!
These came early!! I definitely don’t mind in the slightest haha, these were GREAT!!
Crust - The crust of the Pumpkin Pie Poptart was probably my least favorite aspect. It was quite dry, but was identical to the common shortbread-esc edging of the Strawberry Poptart, Brown Sugar Cinnamon Poptart, Strawberry Milkshake Poptart, etc… The flavor neither disappointed me nor amazed me, I was fully expecting its taste/texture! So, overall, it had a pretty typical crustage.
Filling - Oh. My. GOSH!! This was by FAR my favorite part! The filling of a Pumpkin Pie Poptart is orange in colour and has a cinnamon-forward flavor. I would say that it is most similar to the filling of a Brown Sugar Cinnamon Poptart, but is also like a Banana Bread Poptart. Along with its cinnamon taste, it also has something I cannot quite describe. However, I’d say that it’s almost apple cider donut-like? Maybe it just has some sort of Autumn vibe, I’m not entirely sure 😂!
Icing - Again, the iced top of this Poptart wasn’t anything special haha. It has a white, sugary base littered with orange, red, and yellow sprinkles that are similar to the ones on the Strawberry Poptart. The flavor is, again, similar to that of the Confetti Cupcake Poptart (rip ☹️) and the Strawberry Poptart. It has a sugar-forward flavor and was evenly distributed throughout the pastry.
Oh gosh, I HIGHLY recommend the Pumpkin Pie Poptart, my fellow poptart friends!! This one is definitely right under my favorite poptart, Strawberry Milkshake. I’m a huge fan of anything Fall/Autumn, so I may be biased 😉 I can’t wait to try this frozen, but i’m even more excited to try this toasted! My reviews will come soonnnnn ☺️☺️
Apologies for my late review! I ended up leaving my box of Lemon Blueberry Crumble Poptarts back where I was staying for vacation haha 😓…Anyway, here’s what I thought of this flavor both toasted and frozen.
Toasted - This was significantly better than the Lemon Blueberry Crumble Poptarts in their regular form. In fact, this will most likely be how i’ll be able to finish the box 🥲…The nearly unbearably dry crust was made decent after being toasted due to the fact that it was made crunchy. Compared to many other poptarts i’ve tried, the jam inside did not because melty and gooey. However, I felt that I preferred the warmed filling over room temperature. The iced top did not change in anyway, though I did noticed the fragrance-like flavor the lemon had. While this was my favorite form of this poptart…every other flavor that I have had was still miles better than this one.
Frozen - 0/10, do not recommend. Freezing the Lemon Blueberry Crumble Poptart literally made the (already stale) crust significantly more stale. The perfume-like flavor of the lemon aspect was nearly overpowering! It was like I was tasting a cleaner in the back of my throat 🤢…I must admit, I did enjoy the icing on top when it was chilled. However, I still felt that the blueberry jam wasn’t very enjoyable, even when cold. Overall, while you can’t make me hate a poptart, this made my least favorite one even worse.
Sorry for the delay + no photo, my fellow poptart lovers 😞!! Lmk your thoughts on this poptart, I throughly enjoy your comments and critiques :))
I ALWAYS see everyone on this subreddit hyping up Lemon Blueberry Poptarts! Now, as a HUGE lemon fan, thought I would adore it…Unfortunately, my expectations were not met.
Crust - Oof…dry as hell. Very little to no flavor, was similar to a stale graham cracker. It’s tannish brown in colour, similar to the Banana Bread Poptart crust (minus all the yummy cinnamon). Felt like I had to chug 8 gallons of water after nibbling off all the crust because of how dry and crumbly it was. However, the undercarriage crust was appropriately thick in relation to the iced top.
Icing - The appearance of the iced top of a Lemon Blueberry Crumble Poptart is a purple-grey, topped with pale yellow sprinkles. The only essence of lemon that came from this Poptart was from the icing…and it was unfortunately very minimal. I would have liked to see more of the citrusy element. While I understand that, in the traditional dessert the Poptart is meant to replicate, it is very blueberry forward…I’m personally more of a lemon pastry gal! Additionally, the frosted top was rather…thick…and incredibly hard. However, it paired well with the blueberry filling.
Filling - Unsurprisingly, the Lemon Blueberry Crumble Poptart features a blueberry paste-like filled inside. I would have liked to see a bit more of that lemon coming through in the filling as well! Like I previously stated, this pastry was very blueberry heavy. I must admit, this Poptart was decently filled! The odd, atypical flavors i’ve had always seem to be on the fuller side haha! Overall, this was my favorite aspect of the Poptart.
Sooo…yeah! Yet another Poptart review, at last! While i’ve been gone, I finally re-tried the Strawberry Milkshake Poptarts. Ahh, I forgot how good they are, by far my favorite!! I’ll be trying the Lemon Blueberry Crumble Poptarts frozen and toasted to give them a proper chance (a review will be coming soon!). I apologize for no photo, currently out of town and completely forgot!
Hello, my fellow Poptart fanatics! I have returned to this sub with yet another review…I may start exclusively posting these due to the fact that I have no life…Anywho, I decided to try the Strawberry Cheesecake Poptart in every format I could think of. So…here’s my review and ranking!
Fridge - This Poptart in the fridge wasn’t terrible. I enjoyed the chill-ness of it. It actually made the cream cheese-frosted top quite nice; Which, as you may remember from my original post, was an aspect of the Poptart that I did not enjoy as much. However, I felt as though the fridge Strawberry Cheesecake Poptart was like the freezer one, but lacked all the qualities that made that one the best. Overall, still a good Poptart. I guarantee you that it’s impossible for someone to find a Poptart i’d hate.
Raw/Straight Out the Package - When I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake Poptart for the first time, I had originally tried it raw. You can view my initial opinion on the Poptart on my last post, but to conclude; Very good, though the crust felt a bit thin. The Poptart in its natural and original state has a thicker frosted top and quite a bit of filling. No complaints, other than the fact that it was a bit cream cheese forward and the tiniest bit stale.
Toasted - Oof, this was EXCELLENT! While you would think it would be rather odd for a cheesecake themed item to be hot…it tasted very good! I loved the graham cracker crust toasted, the crunchiness was excellent. Now, I *am* saying this as someone who prefers burnt things. I would also like to note that I had originally compared the crust to the Banana Bread Poptart in my previous post, but less cinnamon-y. However…looking back, I now realize that it’s quite literally the same crust as the S’mores Poptart lol 😂! The filling became extremely gooey and melty, but made my fingers a tad sticky haha. The crust undercarriage became rather cracky due to its lack of thickness and broke easily. So, I had to eat it upside down…which I normally do anyway. The icing on top contrasted rather oddly with this thinness, so that was a bit of a weird and disappointing texture.
Frozen!! - Oh. My. GOSH!!!!! Words simply cannot express how good this was. All previous complaints I had about this Poptart were no longer present in this form. The cracky, frail crust was frozen to a solid state and the iced top was all chilly and cold…so it tasted more like a frosting rather than cream cheese! Like the top of the Poptart, the cream cheese filling also became very frosty. So, overall, you should definitely go with a frozen Strawberry Cheesecake Poptart haha! I suppose it’s best in its true form.
If you do this as well, definitely lmk your thoughts! Additionally…if y’all would actually read more lengthy Poptart reviews…also do tell me…Let me live my out my influencer delusions because my opinions are just so interesting 😂! I only eat one Poptart at a time when I pop open a pack (no pun intended…), so I noticed that the Poptart I didn’t eat in today’s was MEGA thick! This is pictured in the image above :))
Finally got to give these a try! So sad I don’t have a Kroger in my area lol. Luckily, I was able to snag a few boxes while traveling.
Crust evaluation: The crust seems to take on the appearance of the graham cracker base of your typical cheesecake. I’m not the biggest cheesecake consumer, so I unfortunately cannot say that they got it right. However, as far as taste goes, it was quite enjoyable! Unlike some of the other fruit-themed poptarts, these had a unique flavor compared to the basic, dull ones. Don’t get me wrong, the typical shortbread crust hits, but I like a bit of diversity. These tasted similar to the Banana Bread Poptarts! The ends had a cinnamon-y, cookie-cracker like flavor. In fact felt as though they were nearly identical to the Banana Bread Poptarts’ crust. However, they definitely contained a bit less of that cinnamon taste.
Filling evaluation: A Strawberry Cheesecake Poptart contains a combination of two different fillings (similarly arranged to the S’mores Poptarts); Cream cheese frosting and strawberry jam. Now, again, i’m really not into cheese in my desserts (nor cheese period). However, paired with that graham cracker base…this was HITTING!! Initially, I wasn’t really into this aspect of the filling. But this poptart is definitely one you’ve got to ease your way into. The strawberry jam was essentially just the filling used in your typical Frosted Strawberry Poptart. Arguably, the jam was actually a bit sweeter in this one. I found that I preferred bites with solely strawberry jam rather than those containing the cream cheese frosting. Also, would like to note that these babies were FILLEDDDDD!! Definitely did not skimp out!
Icing evaluation: Visually, the top of a Strawberry Cheesecake Poptarts shows to have a white, cream cheese frosting base with some sort of strawberry syrup drizzle on top. I must admit, the iced top was probably my least favorite aspect of this poptart. I’m unsure if it was only this specific poptart, but the icing layer was quite thick. While you may be wondering why this would be a bad thing, this made the poptart somewhat hard (which was quite odd, consider one half of the poptarts undercarriage crust was ridiculously thin and broke easily). Nevertheless, it wasn’t too much of a bother imo. As I previously mentioned, i’m not a huge fan of cream cheese frosting. This top layer of it tasted like straight up sugar (which, I know, is essentially what it is) and…cream cheese frosting. Real shocker, I know. However, along with every other aspect of the poptart, it was something I eventually learned to enjoy as i continued to eat it.
I hope you fellow poptart enjoyers appreciate my lengthy review! Overall, I definitely recommend it if you have a Kroger near you. I rate this an 8.5/10 :)) Because I just tried this straight out of the package, I plan to try it frozen/toasted sometime in the next week (I think). If that’s something you guys would also like a review of, lmk!!

I’ve had some of Chobani’s other yogurts from the “creations” line and really wanted to give the banana foster one a try (i’m a banana fanatic)! However, I was unable to find it ANYWHERE!! Idk if it’s just my location or what, but google isn’t saying that it’s been discontinued? Is anyone else having an issue finding this flavor or no?
hi, so i’m like addicted to nutrigrain bars. while i LOVEE the jammy inside, part of me wants a bar with just the outer bit! does anyone know a product that sells something similar/a very close recipe?
