Alem4o and Ashn

I love how two of the most hated people in Pro League have had insane stages, and I can’t lie it does make me happy to see them doing good. Alem4o was always great on his old role but I think he always had trouble making the IGL role HIS, but now between Ramalho helping him and the meta in general letting him play more loose he has been on one.

Ashn is competent on the other roles, but playing with Savage who lets him frag out has been a treat. He has such great game sense and watching him take engagements it borderline looks like ranked sometimes. M80 built a reputation for extremely precise executes but when you break down their roster they have so many nasty gunners. When your least mechanically crazy player besides Savage is Gunnar the BO5 kill record holder it’s no surprise that they look so good.

Being an M80 Fan in a nutshell

-Win a major
-Fail to make it out of NAL and miss the next event
-Go flawless next stage and 7-0 the champs

Obviously can’t get too excited about NAL results but these guys always find a way to get me invested again lol

The Current Direction Of The Game Is Untenable

I play pretty much whatever the team needs, but if I can, I prefer dive. DD and Black Cat were crazy strong and I was not opposed to nerfs. The thing is NetEase loves to nerf characters in a vacuum. I can’t ignore characters like Black Cat getting a wall of nerfs and the hitscan cast getting obscure and inconsequential “damage drop off” nerfs. Spider-Man is my favorite character but in most cases it was just better to run DD or Cat because they’re one of the few dive DPS that can actually contest the strongest poke characters or the crazy amount of healing. Now with these nerfs DD & DP are looking like the only consistently viable dive characters while Black Cat can barely sustain her own kit due to how little money she builds and the terrible up time. I’ve been playing the game less so it’s not the end of the world but it’s frustrating getting back into it when the devs keep repeating the same mistakes.

Dokkabei in Pro Leauge

We all know Dokkabei is crazy strong right now, but when thinking about how she plays in PL I think the strat is gonna be straightforward. In most scenarios I believe they will just tank the call, which is still strong (free 40 damage), but a little different to how she plays in lower rank lobbies. With the added effect of her being able to see when phones are being deactivated I think it is a straight up a disadvantage in every scenario to try to disable it if they’re playing a power spot due to how much coordination there is at this level of play.

How do you guys think she’ll pan out though?

Question for M80 Fans

Hello fellow M80 fans, I wanted to ask you guys what you think this core will look like without HotAnCold at the helm. Savage pretty much defined the R6 meta last year with the fast lurks, minimal takes, and ability to flip a push on a dime, this style is no longer novel and has been adopted by many teams but has not flooded NA quite the same as other regions. I definitely think this style could be interesting for the team with fraggers like Gaveni and dfuzr + Gunnar running even more wild.

What are you guys expecting?

Stage 1 Moves

I was thinking about possible moves for Stage 1 and was wondering what you guys think about SSG picking up Yoggah(or)Gryxr + Panba for Gity and Rival or just any other interesting moves that can happen between now and then.

KYKY FAN CLUB

From being slandered and trashed on Spoit’s M80, to winning with Beastcoast M80, to winning back to back with DZ. Becoming the best shield player in the world in the process and just an amazing X factor player in general, I love seeing Kyno succeed man, from the first kickoff match with DZ I could tell he was hungry and somehow due for another title despite winning one not even a year ago, THATS MY BOY!!

Novel idea but….

What if after a team doesn’t win an event they don’t drop or scapegoat anyone and work through the issues with the foundation they’ve already established🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😳😳😳😳😳😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😱😱😱😱

I’m sorry FaZe

I realized how wrong I was to call the way FaZe play Siege boring, after seeing Twisted Minds and Five Fears play I have a new appreciation for ethical siege.

CALL IT COPIUM but, I am of the belief that M80 benched HotAnCold to prefire picking up Kason. However, Kason is highly sought after, and in a market where orgs such as Shopify or 100Thieves might try for him I do not think it’s a guarantee. In the off-chance Kason falls through we might have a -LaXinG +LaXinG situation. I’m not fully confident in this of course because I think even if they didn’t get Kason they would try to pivot to someone else to save face since people are already critical of M80 and doubling back so soon could have bad optics, but never say never🤷🏾‍♂️

I had high hopes with Fabian on this team pushing for actual consistency and a long term vision, Kyno was a hiccup but I still had hope for them. I forgot that this org cannot stand losing without jumping to make a change that’s somehow meant to click immediately or be on the chopping block. My biggest concern is what this means for the rest of the team, Fabian included. There’s no way the vibes aren’t fucked by having this decision made from under them. If whatever change they have in mind doesn’t go well, I can’t see Fabian wanting to stick around knowing the plans and conversations he makes with the org are disrespected.

As far as what comes after this the only thing I can see making sense is Ashn Attack IGL, Gunnar stays Defensive, Dfuzr, Gaveni, Kason. Savage rumor is odd to me only because that’s such a huge fundamental change that’s gonna need much more time to show results and kinda pushes their success downstream.
