I was hired in June and was told I would be starting this October however I’ve now been told that the next openings for welder training are pushed out until February/March/April.
I applied all the way back in April. Are they really that backed up?
How long after your hair test did you have your next step in the process? I took the test 3ish weeks ago just been waiting to hear back since
I’m having a weird issue with the Gmail connector in ChatGPT. It shows as connected, permissions are set to allow access, and I’ve already disconnected and reconnected it to force a fresh authorization.
The problem is that whenever ChatGPT actually tries to run a Gmail search, it immediately says the Gmail tool has been disabled/unavailable. The connector itself still appears installed and connected.
I’ve tried:
Disconnecting and reconnecting Gmail
Reauthorizing with Google
Checking permissions
Retrying multiple times over the last couple days
Same result every time: Gmail appears available until an actual search is executed, then it gets disabled.
Has anyone else had this happen recently? If so, did anything fix it, or is this a backend issue with ChatGPT connectors/scheduled tasks?
I’m mainly using it for an hourly task that checks Gmail for specific employment/onboarding emails.

The onboarding emails mention the need to complete a 1 week work readiness program but don’t include any information pertaining to where to go or how to sign up. Still waiting to get called in for the hair test, am I simply thinking about the WRP too soon? I watched the training videos on the onboarding website already, took an hour or less total.
I’ll be starting relatively soon as an entry level welder. How tough is the weld test after training? A former EB employee who works at my current job now tells me you get 2 tries and then you’re done if you don’t get it the second time

Breakdown of my dream
All I remember is a buch of my childhood friends were here and I was a lot younger and they were all being really rude like throwing my stuff everywhere.
I put on guitar hero to try and zone out and ignore them and this dude in my college classes watched for a while then went upstairs so I was alone
And then my mom came downstairs and started saying she was letting everyone do some whack shit upstairs so I was like wtf is going on
Idk why but I got wicked angry and started smashing the guitar hero guitar on the walls and my dad was trying to restrain me and then I said I’m having a mental health crisis and everyone needs to leave.
And then as I was walking upstairs to send everyone home I got grabbed by these super long pitch black arms from a dark part of my basement and they pulled me back
Then I woke up but was actually still dreaming in some dark ass room and I saw some glowing eyes looking at me and a shadow person was running towards me while dancing and when I tried to yell my voice sounded like a car horn
And then I woke up for real
My girlfriend and I love to explore the world of scents together and we both have quite large collections (her collection is probably close to 7-10x larger than mine however).
In addition to wearing our fragrances we also really like to spray them in the air and smell them.
She is a huge fan of gourmands, freshies, fruity and woody scents.
If I had to guess what her #1 favorite to smell would be I would say it’s her bottle of New Eden by House of Cosmo
Today I’ve ordered for her: Acqua Di Gioia and Acqua Di Gioia Intense. I am hoping they are safe blind buys but either way I’m sure she will be happy to have 2 more new additions to her collection!
Mine is Freeway Car Wash on Cowesett in West Warwick. My girlfriend and I like the flashing colorful lights as you go through. Our own personal rave

Hopefully this will be the last Electric Boat post to grace our subreddit. I have created r/GeneralDynamicsEB to be an unofficial subreddit that EB related questions and concerns will hopefully be routed to.
Why? You may be asking. Well, I have an EB related question myself, and instead of tainting our state subreddit even further (after I used the fucking search engine, I promise), I’ve decided to instead build a separate community and will post my question if and when it gains some momentum.
