Push through :)

Got a lot of stressful things going on right now, but heading to a family function tomorrow with the beginnings of an ocular OB, stabbing eye pain, and lower tear duct OB beginning. I have so much to think about. But I just made myself a cup of tea, took a couple Ibuprofen, and I'm just going to sit and take a few deep breaths. There's nothing I can do. If it manifests into blurry vision or something more, I'll have to stop off at a clinic and hang out with all the people blowing off their fingers, then head to the family function. If not, I'll just go to the family function with some dots on my face. I'm 5 years away from being eligible for the shingles shot that won't do anything lol. I just have to push through. I'm here. I'm not alone. This is unfortunate. It's alright. I'm going to be alright. We're all going to be alright. It's going to be alright. ...yeah.

Ocular Herpes questions

Hello everyone I'm about 14 months into my HSV1 diagnosis. I'm a 44 year old gay male for reference. I've been pretty unlucky. The infection started on my scrotum and then moved to my bottom, then my chin, then a bump in my lip, and recently I noticed my eyes starting to bother me. I have since been to 4 separate doctors (2 ophthalmologist) who all can't seem to confirm whether or not my HSV1 has migrated to my eyes. But I keep having all the symptoms... Pain, redness, irritation, repeated styes, and now the red bumps have appeared on my eye brows with skin colored bumps on my eyelids confirming (for myself at least) my own suspicions.

I'm currently on 500mgs of Valtrax. Which for the most part has really reduced the irritation. But overall the results could be better as the outbreaks are weekly.

Does anyone else on here have experience with ocular Herpes they're willing to share. I can handle most things, but the fear of losing my vision is sobering.

I'm afraid to ask to increase or raise my dosage or to try another antiviral. I could use a pep talk.

[DOS][late 1980s early 1990s] Wizard guy collects gems game

Platform(s): DOS
Genre: 2D side-scroller
Estimated year of release: [late 1980s early 1990s]
Graphics/art style: CGA graphics - maybe VGA graphics
Notable characters: Wizard guy
Notable gameplay mechanics: There's a wizard guy who runs along the screen, while the screen scrolls with him, and he picks up a large number of gems on the ground (typically evenly spaced along the floor), while he collects the gems his wand points down at the floor, otherwise the wand is pointed upright (like when you're retracing your steps).

Other details: It was just a basic game, no characters to talk to, you just ran, jumped, and collected these gems. I vaguely remember the last level in the game having an annoying mechanic that wasn't like any other level in the game, where you had to make it to a certain part of the level to get to a door other wise the door would vanish, and you'd be left searching for an exit forever. I feel like the game was freeware but it's very possible my middle school friend had a cracked copy.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey Everybody. I purchased a brand new 2025 ID.4 AWD Pro S on 4/20 from a VW dealer. It was awesome for 3 days. Then after putting about 200 miles on it, the car gave me a bunch of errors. Disabled TPMS, Disabled Accident Avoidance system, Disabled Adaptive Cruise control (and all cruise functions disabled), Disabled SOS emergency calling system, and a Yellow triangle indicator on the dashboard... also the infotainment system completely resets all it's settings back to defaults. I drove it back to the dealership on 4/23 and it's sat there ever since. I can't get an answer out of anyone at the dealership as to what's going on. It's either I need to talk to a different service writer or someone will call me back, and they never do. I do get vague text messages about "The unique situation I'm in" with simile faces... But no honest answers about what module is malfunctioning or what the diagnostics System says or if it needs programing or what. It's just there, no loaner cars, just deal with it.

I don't know what to do except document every interaction for a potential lemon law claim. If anyone has any advice to offer I'd greatly appreciate it. For reference I live in VA.
