I'm so close to being down 100lbs!! I haven't been this "small" since I was 20?

It's crazy how much I enjoy walking now. :) I started super slow, calorie deficit only, and began picking up my walking in December 2025 (to prep for my trip to Japan).

I lost 7lbs in Japan alone (March 2026) and have kept up that same mindset since. Sometimes when I want to increase my speed, I pretend I'm trying to catch the Shinkansen in the Tokyo train station and that helps 🤣

Thank you for all who have been following my journey! I'm hoping to lose another 28lbs for my first goal of 130 😁

F/35/5'2" [248lbs > 168lbs = 80lbs] (14 Months) First Bikini in Years

While I'm still struggling to get from "obese" to "overweight" based on my BMI, I am so happy to be down 80lbs and wore a bikini for the first time in...12+ years? Getting into the 160s has been incredibly hard for some reason.

I don't even care about my stretch marks and loose skin, I felt amazing. I hope everyone does ❤️

I lost my best friend and companion of 16.5 years Thursday June 25th and I feel like I've never felt so broken in my entire life.

I met my buddy Casper just shortly after my 19th birthday...in 2010. It was love at first sight with him, his little wonky eye, his tiny under bite. I was an irresponsible teen buying a puppy in a place that didn't allow dogs and weirdly enough, he taught me I had to grow up fast if I wanted to keep him, and he was worth it. :)

Casper was with me through every single thing. Every, apartment, every job (I've worked at least 2bat a time since 2011) my long term relationship, turned marriage turned estranged whatever the fuck we are. Our grand adventure move to FL. Casper has been there through the death of my brother, the illnesses of my mother, my loneliness when my sister moved literally across the country and the sadness of my divorce... everything.

Casper passed Away next to me in his sleep. I wasn't expecting it, he was in pretty decent health for his age and ate dinner as normal. Even begged for scraps. I'm comforted in knowing he was an old man dog and with me but I'm still so broken

I don't know how I'm supposed to continue my life without him. I feel so guilty because the pain hurts so much more than I ever thought and I feel like an idiot for being so sad but...idk.

I'm so sad. I miss him...

F/35/5'2" [248lbs > 174lbs = 74lbs] (12months, 1 day) So sorry because this is now my third post but yesterday marked one year that I started my journey. June 17th 2025, I realized I only had 8 months before I was leaving for Japan...

https://preview.redd.it/oamearebk38h1.jpg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=198c4bfb3cc9311afd4153cd2505e1b8ab4b8034

I had been wanting to lose weight but kept pushing it off. "I'll start tomorrow" but tomorrow wasn't coming. If I didn't make a change, I was going to be the one slowing my group down like I had done in Canada. I was already in pain, how was I going to walk 10, 15, 20k steps a day? I didn't want to be uncomfortable...I didn't want to be "the biggest person" in Japan. My only regret? That tomorrow didn't come sooner for me. I went to Japan in March of 2026 having lost almost 60lbs and have since lost another 16 :)

I still have 40lbs before I reach my goal, but only 10lbs more before I am "overweight" instead of "obese" and I can't wait for that moment...!!

This is all too while focusing on trying to build muscle the last 2 months instead of just fat loss :)

F/35/5'2" [248lbs > 187lbs = 62lbs] (11months) I poseted a few weeks ago but the other day my boyfriend commented on how much my face has changed since the wedding I was in in October so I tried on the dress. :) I'm focusing a little less on the scale right now because I am weight training
