2 weeks in the Washington... awesome trip!

Had so much fun out here! Here's all I did:

. USA vs Australia game!

Olympic National Park,

Mount Storm King, 4 miles.

Mount Angeles, 6 miles.

Salt Creek Recreation Area hiking, 7 miles.

Mount Rainier National Park,

Skyline Loop, 7 miles.

Naches Peak, 1.3 miles fun scramble!

Stafford falls, 4 miles

Stopped in Chelan, and Leavenworth on the way to NCNP. Leavenworth was cool, but Chelan was such an incredible town. Had a blast walking around the lake and watching the wc games.

North Cascades National Park,

Sauk Mountain, 3 miles.

Cascade Pass, Salahe Arm hike, 18 miles.

Thorton lakes and Trappers Peak, 15 miles.

Only bummer this trip was the weather at North Cascades, barely got to see the views I have seen for years. Still was amazing though! Really a fantastic state.

A book with a similar vibe to the film About Time (2013), in the sense that it depicts ordinary people who live purely happy lifes, or ordinary people living remarkably meaningful lifes.

Not much of a reader, but recently watched the film About Time and it made me genuinely happy. Not because of the time travel plot, but mainly due to the constant joy and uplifting spirit the film presents.

I really want to read a book in the same vein. I don't mind if romance is included! Just normal peole living special, happy lifes you would never hear about. Thank you everyone!

Which Route would you take from Port Angeles to Packwood (Rainier)?

Also whats a good day hike on one of these routes. Maybe less then 4 miles? Going to be with the family. Thanks everyone!

Is this any good for nature photography? I love taking shots out in nature!

Which photos your favorite?? Also, what do you think about my photos in general?

Being young and newer to film is very enjoyable.

I mean I am watching just banger after banger after banger! My curve is extremely lobsided, but frankly I am just watching so many classics for the first time it is soooo hard to not give them 5 stars. Anyone else in a similar experience?

What are your thoughts on About Time (2013)? Where does it rank among 21st century romantic comedies?

Last night I watched About Time for the first time and it absolutely blew my mind. The films performances are absolutely perfect between Rachel Mcadams, Domhnall Gleeson, and Bill Nighy. While the films main storyline is between a husband and life, the best parts of this film arguably came between the dad and son for me. The time travel aspects of this film are impressively in the backround to me. It keeps the film going but it's never about the time travel. Still though, the relationship between Mary and Tim is extremely touching and feels authentic. What do you guys think of About Time?

What are some examples of special effects becoming worse as technology advances?

Harry Potter 4 and 5

Sometimes, as technology advances, effects lose their authenticity...

This is one of the biggest downfalls of all time to me. What are some other changes you can remember that made things look worse then before? Another I can think of is Lord of the Rings Balrog to Smaug in the Hobbit. Im sure there are other general things you can think of. It doesn't necessarily have to be between two of the same movies, just some special effects that you believe have gotten worse

This is an absolute win imo. I understandthe safety concerns, but kids were on their phones so, so much and the attention span issues were getting out of hand.

I know it's not actual production running this account, but the fact the official Survivor Instagram account would repost something saying a lack of twist is a huge positive for the game is so freaking funny. Like I mean come on, we have been asking for less twist this whole damn season and now you want to take credit by making the auction simple? I dont know, it just seems like they know they messed up with some of these twist and now want to backtrack.

Idk man.... today it just struck me that I visited Glacier in 2023, 3 years ago now. I just feel so nostalgic for some reason. Magic really does lay in these mountains.
