Part of the enjoyment of Dubai Bling is that most of the drama is between friends but husband and wife defend eachother. Most of the drama in Desi Bling is between husband and wife and no one has loyalty.

I’m actually disgusted that this is the representation that’s being shown out there in the world. The men do not seem to respect their wives in the slightest and the wives don’t respect themselves.

Dyuti is actively gaslighting his wife while he stays out past 6am and she can’t even divorce him because she won’t get 50/50 as he’s put everything in his Mom’s name. Binda is excusing her husband as long as he parties with “different girls every weekend.” The rest of them are just embarrassing (other than the twins).

It’s frustrating for me as diaspora because we have to deal with so much anti-Indian racism on a daily basis in public and here we have our own men disrespecting our women proudly and our own women disrespecting themselves.

I’m assuming that because this show is produced by non-Desi’s there have been biases that allowed such negative edits (I’m sure we all notice how Farhana is treated vs the rest of the Dubai Bling cast) but it’s still frustrating to me because people are already so hateful towards us…what do you think?

For people to take that same new interview where Megan explains how the members can no longer look at their comments or even search their names online and turn around and start a new hate train for one of the members is disgusting and tone deaf.

I know there’s this idea that “oh it comes with fame and fortune” but why are we ignoring the fact that’s so many idols and celebrities take their own lives? Megan even admitted sometimes they see hateful comments/posts they shouldn’t on accident.

Instead of listening to what Megan was saying and actually processing it, “fans” immediately took a clip of Lara literally just reiterating what Sophia said about them showing up for eachother emotionally as shade from that same interview and bashing her for it!!

Sometimes I think many people won’t be happy until they just stop speaking because why is everything they say so microanalyzed.

Lastly, I think it’s actually laughable some “fans” think they’re better friends/allys to any of these members than they are to eachother. I have not seen one thing that convinces me all 6 girls don’t genuinely love and support eachother still.

Has anyone seen that recent video of Harry was in where someone comes up to him and basically Harry Daniel’s him and start saying pinky up to him in the club. He responds “love those girls” like ewwwww !!

Guys we have to learn to differentiate between when people are criticizing “solo stans” and criticizing “biases” and criticizing a member.

All three are criticizing different, unconnected things.

❌Manon bias = Manon solo stan = Manon herself
✅Manon bias ≠ Manon solo stan ≠ Manon herself

It distracts so much from the point when we have to re-explain to some of you that we are not attacking Sophia/Manon or their normal fans in every conversation about their **toxic solo stans**. I say those 2 in particular because they have the most solo stans out of all the members.

We should not have to put a disclaimer or spend the next few interactions clarifying this point in every post or comment that criticized solo stans.

Why do people keep dragging Lara into this Harry situation? Megan is the only one in the pictures he posted.

If you say “she unfollowed him” so did Sophia but she’s not being hated on.

Per usual, Lara is getting more hate than Megan (not that Megan should get any either).

I am just genuinely so over people not admitting the obvious racism that Lara and Manon face from this fandom. They are always disproportionately hated on for situations they’re not even involved in at times.
