Is this a fossil? Mid Alaska Region

Baby fossil hunter here I found this thing I’m super stoked even if it is just some cool rock. Please Reddit experts! What is this??

Edit: I found this in a river if that changes anything!

There was a wind storm a couple years ago that knocked down a tree that landed on the truck after my dad had moved it away from the trees on the other side of the house, because he didn’t want leaves and branches landing on it. Welp. That one post of the tree landing on that guys house reminded me of this. The truck was deemed totaled

I bought a watermelon at Fred Meyer and it was just…bad.. not spoiled in any way but just not tasty. Where can I find fresh or as close as I can get to fresh fruit? I miss when fruits were good 💔

My first thought is farmers markets, any recommendations?

Edit: thank you for all the recommendations and tips! I took every one into consideration
