Advice needed re. cat that lives in store basement

This is a screenshot from a post months ago about the cat called Benji who is apparently kept in the basement of Prospect Market on Prospect Park West. I have been trying to spot him when I walk past but no luck. He used to be someone's pet. He is never let out (this was a rare sighting, it turns out) and lives in the storage area. Do any cat-rescue people have tips for how to go about getting the owner to let him go? I don't want to doxx anyone but I have learned that he is not happy and not doing well. It breaks my heart (I know, so many things to break out hearts, but why not this guy too)?

Burble still burbling

Three big DEP trucks today on Prospect Avenue, and a lot of drilling upstream of the burble. Now a big steel plate over the hole they made. The Burble seems unaffected. There is more sand than before in the clear water. There was also a DEP truck around the corner on 8th Avenue where there is a depression in the road, maybe unrelated. Is this really one of the phantom streams, hitherto trapped, now released?

The burble

Day 5 (I think). Near 488 Prospect Avenue for any 311 crusaders. They sent me a notification saying the complaint had been closed, no explanation. Yet it flows. I don't know if these is a main break - the water looks very clean. Our very own freshet on the hill.

Water burbling up on Prospect Ave. betw. 8th and Prospect Park West

It's like a spring. Since three days. I've 331'd it twice. I think it might be related to construction higher on the block. But what is this cover? Not a manhole...

Storm damage?

I feel like a tornado almost touched down where we live, around 8PM. Snapped trees and trees bent sideways. I've seen a lot of storm but never anything like this. So brief, but the wind was violent.

Has anyone grown wild za'atar?

(Edited to add image] Origanum syrianum - aka wild za'atar: I have grown many kinds of herbs organically, always with success. I found some small za'atar seedlings at a market (the grower didn't know their botanical name). They look similar to marjoram, but paler and more furry. I brought them home and they have been struggling for two months, in the same potting soil as all my other heathy plants. They keep getting some kind of mildew, and their leaves first turn yellow then crisp up and die. But new ones form. Now I'm think perhaps they need uber-drainage and perhaps leaner soil? More dry spells? They're native to the Eastern Mediterranean, but so are plenty of other herbs. Anyone have experience with this particular Origanum?

Looking healthier but still super prone to mildew.

FlowersForAll lost their lease: looking to find a new ground floor space

The couple behind flowersforall_bk (Instagram) in Greenwood Heights lost their lease. They transformed their backyard from weeds to flower farm with the cutest little free flower stand (also sold flowers). Please share around Brooklyn subs so they can find another space.

Prospect Market Cat

I think I am in love! I've lived in the neighborhood a long time and have never seen this cat. His name is Benji, said one of the shelf packers at Prospect Market. Does he just live in the basement all the time? He is gorgeous. Shy, but friendly.
