Pretty pissed at Weber. Got my Slate 36” setup yesterday and went out to cook breakfast for the first time this morning. Hooked up the propane tank and had a leak. Propane tank had the O-ring, I tested the fit a handful of times, different tightness, all the things. Eventually went to Home Depot and got a replacement regulator, it works now. I took a look at the regulator that came with the grill and there was no O-ring or backing in the connector which explains why the leak was shooting out of the back of the plastic nut. Extremely frustrating to spend a grand on a grill and to have a shit regulator. Put a dent in our Fourth of July morning.
