Happy Fourth! My US Made Favorites

Not all make into the daily rotation, but genuinely surprised so many were still made in the US and not a collab or fully made by an OEM.

My small collection of Microtech

Since starting to actively collect a couple years ago, Microtech has become my favored knives of the “big three”…

Love what Microtech does with Rike and the overall aesthetic so much more than Spydey or BM

Squid!

New Bestech Ika (squid in Japanese) dagger- Tashi Bharucha design. Not that “practical” but I love the design.

Perfectly symmetrical grind and a beefy Ti integral body w/ fat carbon inlays. The blade to handle ratio is so satisfying 😁

Need some help..

Hello!

I’m hoping for some expert advice on how to stop birds from eating my tomatoes. They’ve now started eating the green ones. I’ve tried netting the whole raised bed it but trapped a couple small birds so I pulled it back. I’ve tried an ultrasonic device, but that’s clearly not working.

I have some metallic streamers and a fake owl delivering tomorrow… will these actually do anything? I think the culprits are blue jays or maybe woodpeckers.

Any advice is appreciated! Cheers!

Finally found one…

I’ve been wanting an OTF with a satin blade - was starting to seem like they were all Stonwashed/Apoc/DLC or just satin flats. Wasn’t planning on a Combat Troodon, but damn this thing is awesome, the Tanto blade is incredible with this finish, grind and milling. Pocket sword for sure haha!

Happy Saturday all!

Brian Tighe- Tighe Fighter

RWL-34 hand rubbed satin blade.. almost a mirror polish.. The "TurboGlow" handle is kinda funky, but I like it! Really lights up under UV, then glows for hours. Very smooth action, but maybe feels a bit unbalanced since the handle is so light

It’s been a fun week…

I’ve been wanting to pick up one of these for a while and got a little carried away…

I think the full size Arius is a new favorite. Incredibly satisfying action and acoustics!
