Bad move on the part of Indy to move tge race from the iconic location along the shore at Exhibition to concrete island Markham. Massive loss. the straightway to the finish in Exhibiton Place had such a stunning backdrop now it's gone and the backdrop is an empty view in bumphuckville. Massive loss and a tragic cultural loss.
I saw this business for sale. $99k was the asking. Makes me wonder if there's some issue that causes it to be priced that low. Tempted to but it as I've eaten there and loved it and am looking to buy a hobby business.

I have a degree in ECE from Canada. I have basic verilog experience but mostly academic. I davbled a lot with Altera FPGAs while in univ. Briefly applied the verilog knowledge in a very short stint at AMD before getting laid off. Now work in petro engineering.
I see good talent in r/FPGA. I've been out of FPGAs for a while and only know the basics. I've interviewed at a few FPGA roles (to test yhe worth of my knowledge) and made it past round 2 of interviews but I am largely useless in a production environment right now.
Fellows, lemme know if any of you are interested in ganging up and starting some FPGA related startup.
Maybe we can gather and brainstorm some cool ideas and see where we go. At a high level, come up with some ideas and their value propositions and market addressability
