Nite-Bite aura farms per usual
A huge part of Nite-Bite’s lore is when he gets corrupted by his father Paradox (the Mister Negative of his universe) so I knew I had to participate in the current SDC!! :D
Here he is dressed up in the fancy suit he’s forced to wear, also with his hair styled by Paradox
For the record, after he’s freed he disavows formalwear for the foreseeable future 💀

Hey gang I don’t go here but I was unwinding with YouTube before work tmrw and woke up like a sleeper agent when I heard this went down at Ont Tech because I live locally 😭😭 thought I would share this here
If anyone remembers, I started working on this animatic around late December / early Jan I don’t fully remember and then I got beaten up by a semester of university but now I’m free and it’s finished 😛
This one focuses on Nite-Bite’s perspective, his struggle with his self image after becoming something other than human, and throwing himself into heroism as a way to compensate and prove to himself that he’s not a monster
And now that this is done I can work on the other 500 gazillion things I’ve had in my head for months 🕺🕺 or maybe just keep dreaming about without actually doing it idk

I’ve been obsessed with the song since it’s official release and I think it fits very well with Jumping-Spider mourning for Nite-Bite while he’s under the sway of his father’s influence 😛😛
Mysterio is one of the main reoccurring villains for Jumping-Spider and Nite-Bite so I figured I’d get around to designing them, here’s a copy paste of a lil thing I wrote about him on Instagram:
Mysterio is a former renowned special effects artist who went insane after trying to combine magic with technology to push their effects further
Now Mysterio desires to make life their stage, stealing magical artifacts and learning spells to warp reality to their will
I don't know if I want to make Mysterio Quinten Beck or pick another identity but I'll figure that out 😛
I also like the idea that their cape is made of magic, and when someone is enveloped by it Mysterio can look into their heart to see their greatest fears / desires and trap them in visions of either one 😟😟
I’m at work and came up with a short arc so I quickly wrote this down during my lunch break 🤩
Doctor Strange is a museum curator and owner of a small, private museum who works specifically with magical artifacts he collects on purpose in order to protect them as his heroic alter-ego.
Mysterio is a common enemy of Doctor Strange as well as Mark and Mina.
A crown was donated to Strange’s museum shortly after it was recovered, which used to belong to an ancient royal family. It’s rumoured that the crown grants wishes to its wearer, its magic abilities being provided by the souls of previous users. Wearing the crow and using it results in a piece of your soul being taken and offered to the crown to amplify its power.
The royals used the crown to keep themselves in power, but a war caused the last wielder to wish it into hiding so their enemies couldn’t find it.
Once it’s found again, it gets donated to Strange’s museum. He hires Mark and Mina to guard / escort the shipment when it arrives, but Mysterio manages to intercept. When they fight, Mysterio manages to slip away, and they are left to chase him across the city. They manage to corner him, but he panics and wishes for Jumping-Spider and Nite-Bite to be gone. Mark grabs the crown and tries to wrestle it away from Mysterio as it has already activated. The magic goes through, causing everyone to forget about Jumping-Spider and Nite-Bite. Including Mina. Because Mark was holding the crown, he remembers everything (and so does Mysterio) but the magic also affected Mark more severely, causing every memory and evidence of his existence to be wiped clean, as both himself and as Nite-Bite. He’s left to convince Mina of who she was— and who he was, so they could go after Mysterio together and get back the crown to set things right.
*Note: The crown drains of magic after one wish and an incantation must be cast to restore its abilities. Mysterio only knows half the spell and is trying to complete it, which deters him from making any other wish in the meanwhile.
Doctor Strange knows the incantation, which allows them to restore the crown and set things right.
