What's something your partner has said that gave you the ick?
When I told my now ex I wanted to apply for a higher paying job, his response was an enthusiastic 'yes' so he could quit his job and I'd support him financially. He was serious about it too.
That comment (among other things) made me realise how one sided the relationship was becoming and I instantly saw him in a different light. I wanted a partner, not a dependent.
What's your story?
