M1 Macbook dead

Hello, I hoped this day would never come but here it is.

I was going about my day as usual and was running some high gpu tasks (plugged in with battery around 80%) when suddenly my screen turned black and the machine turned off.

It’s been an hour since then and I haven’t been able to get it to turn on.

I tried a variety of stuff from pushing the power button for 15-30 seconds (sometimes with option, control and shift) but nothing seems to get it to show any sign of life.

Has something similar happened to anyone here before? Any advice? What damage should I expect if I try to get it fixed at the apple store?
