Finally having some time for my videos
Long ago I released a video on my Command Center MOC, now I finally have organized my time to keep working on other videos and other LEGO projects.
Hope you enjoy
Some captures
Hi there!
So after quite a while I finally had a chance to bring my Classic Space MOCs on a Brick Fest where I live.
I really had fun sharing my collection and noticing that these type of builds still gain attention from younger generations.
Here are some pics from that event, hope you like it.
I won't back down
Hello again!
For those who have been following some of my older posts, you probably know that over the last few years I’ve spent a lot of time creating MOCs and instructions on Rebrickable. After designing so many projects — including Classic Space, LOTR, and Star Wars builds — I decided to try pursuing a dream: becoming a LEGO designer.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t selected for the next stage of the process, but I still wanted to share the second assignment from my application with all of you. The challenge was to create a new LEGO theme and set based on one of our passions. In my case, that passion has always been cinema, especially sci-fi.
I spent a couple of days completely stuck… until one idea suddenly came to mind: Space Travellers!
This theme connected many classic LEGO Space subthemes (especially the different locations and environments) into a larger storyline. The main character belongs to a brand-new Space faction called the Space Travellers — explorers inspired by Star Trek, but focused on uncovering relics, mysteries, and forgotten secrets across the galaxy.
The protagonist, Max, is searching for his missing brother. The fun concept behind the line was that every set included a fragment of a clue to his brother’s whereabouts. By combining all the fragments — represented as 2x2 tiles — you could assemble a puzzle revealing a galactic map with the exact location of his brother’s last known signal… and ultimately uncover his fate.
As for the set itself, it takes place on Ice Planet and featured the first fragment hidden beneath a giant crystal worm. The ship is called The Wanderer, and Max is accompanied by his small robot companion, D.O.T. (I also included some of the explanatory pages for these elements).
Beyond the application itself, I imagined this as a two-season story. The first season would focus on exploration, mystery, and adventure. Then, at the climax of that storyline, the true antagonists would finally be revealed — leading into a second season with a completely different tone, conflict, and style of sets and builds.
For the crew, I wanted to combine characters inspired by different LEGO Space eras and subthemes. For example:
- Bill was a former member of Space Police
- Max belonged to the Space Travellers faction
- Sarah was a space biologist inspired from the 2024 LEGO City Space line
- And for the second part of the story, I planned to introduce an alien character who would contribute their knowledge of exploration and ancient civilizations
Even though I wasn’t selected this time, I haven’t lost faith in achieving this dream someday. And if you made it all the way to the end of this post, thank you so much. I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts.
Lately I haven’t had as much time as I’d like to continue growing within the LEGO community and pushing forward with my projects, but I fully plan on continuing, improving, and preparing for a future application with even more experience and determination.
