We still believe in the American Dream

Everybody needs to listen to this work of art. This is what it's all about!!

Something both Republicans and Democrats believe in and hold dear. Something that can bring us all together!

I'm not crying, I swear...

ChatGPT REFUSES to output this Ronald Reagan speech:

Try it for yourself, it simply will not do it,l. It has told me all kinds of lies about why it can't, from "it's copyrighted," to "I can't handle the commas."

This is the speech:

>Now, tomorrow is a special day for me. I'm going to receive my gold watch. And since this is the last speech that I will give as President, I think it's fitting to leave one final thought, an observation about a country which I love. It was stated best in a letter I received not long ago. A man wrote me and said: '`You can go to live in France, but you cannot become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey or Japan, but you cannot become a German, a Turk, or a Japanese. But anyone, from any corner of the Earth, can come to live in America and become an American.'

>Yes, the torch of Lady Liberty symbolizes our freedom and represents our heritage, the compact with our parents, our grandparents, and our ancestors. It is that lady who gives us our great and special place in the world. For it's the great life force of each generation of new Americans that guarantees that America's triumph shall continue unsurpassed into the next century and beyond. Other countries may seek to compete with us; but in one vital area, as a beacon of freedom and opportunity that draws the people of the world, no country on Earth comes close.

>This, I believe, is one of the most important sources of America's greatness. We lead the world because, unique among nations, we draw our people -- our strength -- from every country and every corner of the world. And by doing so we continuously renew and enrich our nation. While other countries cling to the stale past, here in America we breathe life into dreams. We create the future, and the world follows us into tomorrow. Thanks to each wave of new arrivals to this land of opportunity, we're a nation forever young, forever bursting with energy and new ideas, and always on the cutting edge, always leading the world to the next frontier. This quality is vital to our future as a nation. If we ever closed the door to new Americans, our leadership in the world would soon be lost...

>It is bold men and women, yearning for freedom and opportunity, who leave their homelands and come to a new country to start their lives over. They believe in the American dream. And over and over, they make it come true for themselves, for their children, and for others. They give more than they receive. They labor and succeed. And often they are entrepreneurs. But their greatest contribution is more than economic, because they understand in a special way how glorious it is to be an American. They renew our pride and gratitude in the United States of America, the greatest, freest nation in the world -- the last, best hope of man on Earth.

Plug that in and see what happens.

Also, any ideas why this wouldn't be allowed? I tried every way I could think of to get it to repeat it back to me.

Wow this is the guy they told us to hate??

Never listened to him before, but thought he was bad because people said he was bad. After listening to this I've changed my mind. He's GOOD

For the record: a human heart beats 3 billion times max in a lifetime, so getting on a plane was literally safer than your next heartbeat back then. Not the same now unfortunately..

I was just watching this video of a rave from the 90's and it really got me wondering...

So I watched this video, and I couldn't help but notice how freaking hard it looked like EVERYBODY was vibing... Not that people don't vibe today, but this is next level. Just look at their faces and dance moves!

It got me wondering: are cell phones, and how we can always be contacted taking away from our presence in the moment so much so that this level of raving is no longer possible?

I mean, I've been to no-phone shows and they're fun, but still nowhere near this level, possibly because people still have a lingering sense of anxiety, even when their phones aren't with them.

Idk, what do you think?

Do you think we will be better than the Jazz next year?

Utah is another rebuild I've been keeping an eye on, and after seeing them get the #2 pick I'm starting to wonder.. Lauri, JJJ, Keyonte George, Ace, Sensebaugh, DP seems like a group that can compete with OKC, if not next year- in the very near future.

Idk man, it's just kinda depressing... I thought our rebuild was going so well, but now idk. Danny Ainge seems to be running circles around our front office, the Pistons have leapfrogged us, the Spurs leapfrogged us. We are starting to turn into the Western version of the Magic 😩

I still have hope, but it's hard being supplanted as the hot "up-and-coming" team.

Is this just media bs, or is our front office actually considering bringing on Kawhi? Another aging, injured star who brings absolutely nothing to the locker room!! They cannot be serious... I PRAY they're not serious 🙏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We made that mistake last year, and now people are saying we should repeat that mistake again and compound the damage? Sunk cost fallacy and all that...

If this happens, I'm going to have a very hard time sticking by the team when it inevitably goes South. The Thunder *are* the blueprint, and we had been following in their footsteps (just a year behind) until last off-season.

‼️What I just read on ESPN that inspired this post:

>Rockets go old and all-in

>Houston Rockets get:

>Kawhi Leonard >Brook Lopez

>LA Clippers get:

>Alperen Sengun >Reed Sheppard >Steven Adams

>In this trade, the Rockets go all-in to win a championship in the short term.

>Durant and Leonard would pair at forward, Jabari Smith Jr. would slide to starting center and budding star Amen Thompson would join a healthy Fred VanVleet in the backcourt. That lineup is more defense-minded, with Leonard and Smith forming a stingier frontcourt around Durant than Smith and Sengun.

>The Rockets would retain their depth of young 3-and-D talent and Lopez gives them size, shooting and shot blocking off the bench. And Leonard would combine with Durant to give the Rockets arguably the most potent 1-2 scoring punch in the league.

I was all for trading KD two days ago, but in that short time it seems like Alpi has really started taking command. We all saw him take Udoka's seat during that timeout, and now we've heard about how he was able to motivate the team to their best performance of the playoffs with an amazing speech – he's growing right before our eyes!

If Alpi takes command of the locker room it won't matter if KD is sulking. I've been saying for months now that KD only works on a team where there's somebody who's more respected (amongst the players) than he is, and now we might have that.
