Hi!

I was so happy when I finally found a name for this phenomenon in 2015. I discovered it through a documentary about ASMR by WhiteWinterWhispers.

My ASMR experiences started when I was a child, and they were strongest in my twenties.

When some random person asked me for directions or accidentally touched me a little, I was in heaven!

In my teens I discovered that being like a rag doll for my little sister worked too. I would lie on my bed and she would lift my hand. I would keep it in that position until she moved it again, and so on.

The worst thing happened at school during exams. I couldn’t write because my fingers couldn’t hold a pen — they felt like spaghetti. So I had to hold the pen in my fist and try to write the answers. On the other hand, I could easily lift a bucket of water.

I’m just wondering what kind of experiences you all have?
