Apart from my obvious skill issue - how can I deal with armies of 400 three gold chevron Glottkin that have infinite health and terror route everything I have??!!
They have multiple stacks across the empire
Be me, very new to multiplayer. As English get a strong early lead against Rus having destroyed many villagers using men at arms and longbows. Excited as I'd not won a match yet and it feels close.
Instead of going for the kill, given their watchtowers are still strong I sit back and allow my econ to grow to get to siege then finish the game.
Go back a while later with a massive horde of arms and siege units to finish the job. Only out of nowhere about 4 priests with relics Wololo 80% of my army, the first time this has happened to me in AoE4. Damn it was like a knife in the heart. I continue fighting but surrender shortly after as they now have endless hordes I cannot compete with despite trying to pump all resources to counter.
The real sting though? That comes in the summary screen at the end which showed my opponent had minimal villagers despite that large army and I could have won had I just kept the pressure up, but my morale was tanked so much I couldn't see a way through.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, all I can say is GG and thank you for introducing me to Wololo in the most brutal fashion possible.
I'm happy with it as a baseline but its missing a wow factor, suggestions??
