Albany Park Kova Sofa: Misleading Fabric Description and Lack of Customer Resolution

Wanted to share this in case it saves someone else a massive headache.
I bought the Kova sofa from Albany Park specifically because it was marketed as pet-friendly, with the fabric described as having a "tight weave to resist snagging." I have a 13-lb dog and a 10-lb cat, so durability was a top priority. For context, my old sofa was a performance velvet from Living Spaces, which handled my pets for years with zero damage.
Less than 24 hours after the Kova was delivered, it was already covered in scratches and small punctures from normal pet behavior. Nothing unusual or destructive, just everyday use.
I reached out to customer support hoping for a resolution. After two weeks of back-and-forth, they offered absolutely nothing. But here is the most frustrating part: while my complaint was actively open, they quietly removed the "Pet Friendly" badge and the "tight weave to resist snagging" line from the product page.
Changing the product description during raised concern is a clear sign they are admitting the fault, but they refuse to take accountability. Save your money and buy elsewhere.

Albany Park Kova Sofa - Very Frustrating Experience

If you have pets, I'd avoid the Albany Park Kova in Performance Velvet.
Actually, after my experience, I'd avoid it regardless.
I bought it because it was advertised as pet-friendly, with claims like "tight weave to resist snagging." Within 24 hours of delivery, my 13-lb dog and 10-lb cat left it covered in scratches and even small punctures from normal household use.
After more than two weeks of going back and forth with customer support, their solution was to tell me to trim my pets' nails - even though I attached pictures of a 4-year-old ottoman (from a previous sofa set I gave away) that held up with no damage from the exact same pets.
Meanwhile, while my complaint was still ongoing, the company updated information about the fabric on their page, and the "Pet Friendly" badge and "tight weave to resist snagging" claim disappeared from the description.
Unfortunately for Albany Park, I have screenshots of the original listing, that i am attaching with photos.
