I have a one question
Lately, I’ve been thinking about what would happen if the gender gap in employment and income were permanently reversed.
Let’s imagine a scenario in which, due to structural changes such as automation, women became significantly more likely to find stable employment and, on average, earned noticeably more than men. As a result, more women would occupy managerial positions and reach the highest levels of professional and political power, while a much larger proportion of men would struggle to find stable, meaningful employment.
What would happen to families in such a society?
Would long-term relationships and marriages still form at similar rates?
How do you imagine gender roles would change, and would entirely new gender norms emerge?
How would feminist movements react to such a reversal?
And finally, how would you personally react to living in a society like this?
