Hi! I’m visiting Osaka for a conference late this year. The trip will be from November 25-28, planning to have a late night return flight on Nov 28.

Could you suggest a budget hotel near Umeda and the Grand Cube Osaka? Around 9000 yen a night, as this is the only budget I could have. Preferably, it allows late check-in since the return flight is around 9 PM and common check-out time is 10 AM (no problem with additional fee for the extension)

Hi! Do you have tips or suggestions on how to make my application for Japan Visa stronger or have a higher chance of approval?

For context, I’ll be presenting a paper for a conference in Osaka. And the stay is only for 5D4N

My profile:
- Fresh graduate
- DOST Scholar (will be getting a travel clearance)
- Currently enrolled in a review center for licensure
- First-time international traveler
- 5 digit savings in GoTyme for source of funds (mainly from the DOST allowance)

Will be submitting the conference-related documents and a cover letter. Kind of skeptical on going through an agency, since they are mostly expensive. On the other hand, I really need to get the visa approved, since the registration fee for the conference is non-refundable. Are there more things I need to consider?
