[mobile] [2023-2024] Wierd mobile game I played during 2023-2024 about a ginger guy killing donuts by flying into them
I’ve been trying to find this game for days and I’m starting to think it was either removed from Google Play or renamed. I even went through what felt like thousands of games in my Google Play history and couldn’t find anything that looked familiar.
It was an Android game I played sometime around 2023–2024. The game was in landscape mode and had a clean, colorful art style that reminded me a little of Angry Birds. You played as a cartoon human guy with a muscular build, brown jacket, blue jeans, gloves, boots, and futuristic goggles or a visor covering his eyes with a blue digital line across it. I think he had orange or ginger spiky hair.
The gameplay was unique. You launched yourself by dragging a dotted aiming line, kind of like Angry Birds, except you were the projectile. You could launch again while in the air, stick to walls, and bounce off enemies. When you hit enemies, they would bounce from the impact and then explode. The camera followed your character through the level.
The game was level-based with a scrolling world map (like 1-1, 1-2, etc.), and your character would move along the map after beating a level. There were coins, and I think levels ended with a star rating, but I don’t remember any upgrade system—it seemed to be mostly skill-based.
The enemies were evil living pastries. I specifically remember donuts, muffins, pancakes, cakes, and other baked goods with faces. There was a purple candy forest world with normal candy decorations, a factory level that I think ended with a boss, and I’m pretty sure one boss was called Evil Donut. Before levels, there was a small brick donut shop or bakery with a glowing neon “SHOP” sign that acted as the menu or starting area.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Even if you don’t remember the name, I’d love to know if someone else remembers playing this because it’s driving me crazy. I’ve asked my sibling about it too, and they remember the game as well, so I know I didn’t imagine it.
