Better cautions "Race to the line" fix?

Any fixes for going a lap down when race to the line is selected on better cautions?

I like to use this setting because I find that it prevents the AI from driving into or through a wreck unrealistically. However, I've been having timing issues where it will put any car that is behind the finish line a lap down after the caution is thrown.

According to ChatGPT... lol. There were older versions of BC that came with a .ini file to edit settings like how quickly the flag is thrown and other timing settings.

Or am I better off just leaving race to the line turned on?

Civic or WRX?

$15-20k price range. I want a manual daily driver.

Before you say it, I would LOVE a Miata, but need a 4 door.

I’m pretty much between a Civic and a WRX.

I’m trying to weigh the “reliability/economical” difference between the cars… to my understanding, the WRX will be more expensive to service, insure, and probably have more repairs than the civic.

Any input appreciated!
