Hi everyone! My husband, our 14-month-old daughter, and I are moving to Oak Park in about 2 weeks. My husband is a fellow, so he'll be working long hours, and I'll be a stay-at-home mom. We're moving away from my family and friends, so I'm feeling a little nervous about starting over and building a new support system.
I'd love to hear your recommendations! What are some good ways to meet other parents or families in the area? Any favorite playgroups, library story times, parks, or local mom groups? Thanks so much

My daughter was born at 31 weeks. I have been EP since April 2025. It’s caused me so much stress and anxiety. At times I felt like I couldn’t be fully present because I was focused on when I needed to pump again. I have had a few (painful) bouts of mastitis. I never thought I’d make it a year. As I approach the 13 month mark I’ve began to wean. I thought I would be happy but I’m feeling a weird mix of things including guilt. Has anyone experienced this? Any tips? Thanks!
