The Bear wasn’t planned. It just happened.

[OC] First post guys. I had the Hunter 350 for over two years, and it’ll always mean a lot to me. My first motorcycle, originally bought as an upgrade from the Ntorq 125, just to commute to work and experience something new.
I had no idea it would pull me so deep into motorcycling with weekend rides, twisties, road trips, trails, new places, new people, and that obsession with finding roads you’ve never ridden before.

Then, at EICMA ’24, I saw the Bear 650 for the first time.
I’ve always fancied bikes like the Ténéré and Scrambler 1200, bikes that were not limited to just asphalt. The Bear felt like my gateway into that world. And that Petrol Green? Stole my heart instantly. 🥲

When it launched in India, I booked a test ride “just to feel it.”

Next thing I knew, I was shaking hands with the manager and walking out with the widest grin on my face. My friends knew exactly what had happened. 😂
My birthday was around the corner. What better way to treat myself?

Fast forward 1.5 years and 20,000 km. Mountains, trails, beaches, highways, bad roads. Detours that seemed accidental that made Scrambling through moments into memories.

She’s my daily rider, and somehow, starting her up still gives me the same excitement as day one.

Not a review of the bear. Just a reminder that sometimes you owe it to yourself to chase the machines you dream about.

Dreams are great. Riding them is better. 🐻
