Can't recover account.
Long story short: I purchased my grandma an iPhone 10 years ago and sent it to her. The thing is still working! I set it up with everything she needs across the country with my phone number and email as the recovery email. Today I got a text from a family member saying they needed to log into her Gmail remotely and that my info was the recovery. Asked for the password. I wouldn't give it.
30 minutes later I got an email saying that there was a security alert with a new iPhone login. I tried to log in from my PC and the password has been changed and the recovery options aren't there. It said I need to be on the same network I have been using. It's the same network I activated the phone on and set up the service but routers, devices and everything has changed in 10 years. Any suggestions how to get in?
I think some sketchy people are trying to hack an old lady's account and I want to protect her. TIA.
