What would an Inquisition/Imperial Agents faction look like?

Now, I'll admit, I don't play them on tabletop (I haven't even met anyone who does), but I just can't really imagine what an ingame Agents faction would look like. It seems a lot of their codex is using Grey Knights, Sisters of Battle or Deathwatch units. So, at least, we'd have to wait for these three other factions to be added before we got Agents. And, aside from those units, what else do they have? Arbites? Navy Breachers?

I was wondering if agents (or the inquisition generally) was more likely to be campaign mechanic rather than an actual playable faction in-and-of-itself. I just think it might be a little strange to have one singular Inquisitor in the middle of a battlefield surrounded by Baneblades and Gorkanauts.

If anyone has a better idea of how an Agents faction might be realistically added, I'd be interested to hear it.

What Vehicles are you most looking forward to seeing/using?

For me, it definitely has to be the Hellhound or some other kind of flame vehicle or tank. The fire effects from the last stream looked absolutely amazing. To see them coming out of a group of Hellhounds would be amazing, to see them just absolutely incinerate a group of orks.

Campaign Reveal at Gamescom?

I was just watching this interview with the Total War VP Roger Collum from a few months ago, at 57:21 he says;

I know that people are gonna really wanna see campaign. We are talking about showing campaign....... (pause) very....early summer, I think, at an event. And then as we release it from there, we'll probably start talking streaming more of that stuff...as...as..as we go.

So, surely this 'event in the early summer' is gamescom right? So, in only a couple of weeks, will we get out first propper look at campaign? I sure hope so.

Please give us Steel Legion

I read this on another post;

For IG its been confirmed that Yarrick will in at launch. And then I think Lady Creed will be the second LL as all of Cadias unique units have been confirmed to be in at launch (Shock Troops, Karskins, Castellan).

I don't know if it's been confirmed yet, but I really really hope we get a decent spread of different guard regiments rather than just Cadians. Because A) I think Cadians are done to death. I know they're probably most people's favourite and the most inconic guard faction, but they're so over used in almost all forms of media.

But most importantly; B) Armageddon seems to be big focus in this game, as well as in 11th edition. If we end up with another 'everyone but Steel Legion is on armageddon' situation like we did in that release trailer and the 'paint your krieg like legion' stuff, I'll be gutted.

From this other post, it seems that Yarrick is confirmed (but I don't know from what source that came), and if he is we can get a really good amount of representation for Steel Legion in-game. And not just legionaries as infantry, but like other Steel Legion-skinned units, like Heavy Weapons teams, Tank-Commanders, Hellhounds and Chimeras, ect. I think that would be absolutely amazing.

I'd also like to see a few other regiments too; Catachan would be nice. Although I know their models are incredibly old at this point.

Console Release Reassures Me about PC Performance

I think it's safe to say that performance is something that a lot of us are concerned about currently; people talking about needing to upgrade before release, ect. But, I've been thinking, if the game is being released on console, and so long as it's not a Cyberpunk-on-old-gen level crisis, shouldn't PC release be okay? Obviously, I'm sure it's not gonna be easy to run, but if it can run on an Xbox, shouldn't a lot of us on PC be okay? Especially since we're in Alpha at the moment so in the game play we've seen is nowhere near any sort of future optimisation.

Where are the Total War 40k Dev Diaries?

I just watched the TW40k live stream where they showed off a bunch of ranged mechanics. It was pretty cool. In the comments, some people were talking about the campaign screen, and someone answered that some stuff was mentioned in dev diaries. I've tried to look for them on the forums, but I can't seem to find any. Does anyone have any links or anything?

Impressions absolutely nuked in my last two videos

Over the past month (my schedule is a video every two weeks), the impressions for my past two videos have been absolutely destroyed and I'm pretty concerned. In the first 9 days, my videos got;

Video 1 - 30 impressions

Video 2 - 174 impressions

Video 3 - 6,086 impressions

Video 4 - 3,391 impressions

Video 5 - 2,945 impressions

Video 6 - 176 impressions

Video 7 - 91 impressions

I'm really quite concerned. I just watched Dolan Dark's video on Youtube secretly cutting down on AI channel, and I'm concerned my channel my have been flagged for that, even though I don't use AI. I have a history channel where I don't show my face but I do my own narration and voice-over work myself. I also make my own thumbnails and write my own scripts.

Does anyone have any advice? If my channel has been falsely flagged, is it over already? I'm a pretty small channel. Only 18 subs, and I just crossed 1,000 views. Has this happended to anyone else? Is it a normal thing to go through?

Help with Unlocking the Type 38 Arisaka

I just cannot seem to get any multi-kills. I've read all the threads about using grenades and AA or field guns, but nothing seems to work. Every time I get on a gun I just get sniped off immediately and I never seem to be able to kill anyone with grenades.

Would 2 kind strangers be able to hop on a private server with me to help me unlock it? I know it sounds stupid, but I would really really appreciate it.

My first week of OMAD (and Pepsi Max)

I've just completed my first week of OMAD. I lost 1.6kg (3.5lbs). Is this a good result? My schedule has been OMAD with a cheat-day where I also eat a normal sized breakfast (bacon, toast, hash browns, coffee).

Today, I got some Mango/Tropical flavoured Pepsi Max. I've been trying to find out if these diet pops are allowed but I've been seeing mixed responses. Apparently, it's something to do with the artificial sweeteners inducing an insulin response. Is this detrimental to my fasting?

Can someone explain 'Water-Weight' to me?

I don't understand the contradiction between people saying 'When you first start OMAD you lose a lot of water-weight' and 'Make sure you always drink a lot of water when doing OMAD'. Obviously, no drinking fluids is incredibly dangerous, but how will it also lead to weight loss?

I Start Tomorrow

I randomly stumbled across this community a few hours ago, and this is it. This is what I think I need. I'm 25M, 175cm, and pretty overweight. Probabably about 95-100kg, which puts my BMI at obese. I've just had dinner like half an hour ago, so there's no point weighing myself because I know I won't get an accurate result, so I'll do it first thing tomorrow.

I'm tired of the way I look and feel. When I was younger, back in high school, I was a healthy normal weight, but since I went off to university, I just got fat. I think it was the independence and the freedom that just made me go out of control. Without any one watching over me, I was just free to gorge myself and eat whatever I wanted. And now, it's all caught up with me. I know maybe 95-100kg is not SUPER overweight, but it's enough that I feel it. I get tired walking up long flights of stairs, bending down isn't quite as easy as it used to be, and I know I'm not getting any younger. My family has a history of heart disease so there's the health aspect to think about as well. I'm just not happy with how I look anymore and I want that to change. But also, buying so many snacks and stuff is so expensive.

This community just seems like the perfect thing. I hope it will keep me accountable to someone. I've been reading so many posts this evening about other people's success in a relatively short amount of time. Like 30kg or more in like 6 months. That's what I'd like to aim for. My goal weight is 75kg for now, which is just enough for my BMI to hit healthy/normal. It seems that eating at roughly the same time each day is kind of important. I think I'll be okay in that regard because I eat every day at basically 6pm, give or take 10 minutes or so.

I hope I can do it, but we'll have to wait and see. As I said, I've just eaten dinner, so I'm not really hungry at the moment. That concerns me though because it's so easy to commit to a fast on a full stomach, but come tomorrow afternoon, I'm sure I'll be starving and thinking very differently. And it might sound strange, but I'm actually finishing all the snacks I have in the house tonight and throwing away what I don't eat in preparation for tomorrow. I'm concerned that if I get hungry before dinner tomorrow, it'll be more of a temptation to eat. And that's what concerns me the most; temptation and the psychological aspect. I'm really worried that right now, as I'm writing this, I'm full of confidence and high spirits, but within a few days, when I'm constantly, I'll be very close to giving in. It's made worse by the fact that I work in a bakery, so I'm constantly surrounded by cake, cookies, pies, brownies, ect.

So, I have some questions for the community.

  1. How long/bad is the initial hungry period?
  2. What are people's first week/month results like?
  3. Is 25/30kg in 6 months realistic?
  4. What happens if I give in/can't do it and up snacking/having 2 meals a day once or twice a week?
  5. What do people do about alcohol? I'm not a heavy drinker, but I do like a beer from time to time.
  6. How strict is the water/tea/coffee rule? I tend to drink a lot of squash/cordial rather than just plain water? What about 'fancy' coffees like lattes or capuchinos or something?
  7. Any other advice or wisdom?

If anybody has any comments, advice or even questions for me, please go ahead. It's kind of what I'm looking for.

Over the past couple of days, I've been getting deeper and deeper into the world of Trench Crusade literature outside of just what is available on main site. And not just official stuff like the Graham McNeil short story, but even works made by fans that rival the quality of a real novel. I think that, just like the Black Library for the world of Warhammer, TC would benefit from a place for people to gather to focus on the literature of the world; rulebooks, official stories, audio stories and even fanfictions. If you're interested, come on over!

I just finished reading Blood & Iron yesterday and I really really enjoyed it. Are there any more official short stories or novellas available? I know there's all the lore articles on the website that I've slowly been working my through, as well as the Lore PDF.

I saw on amazon there's some 'unofficial' stories but I don't know if they're worth my time or money.
