Not Pyrex but Hazel Atlas

Not Pyrex but Hazel Atlas

Found these when I was out thrifting. The two cups were $5 and the plates were $7. The creamer was $9. The creamer was a bit more then I cared to pay.

They’re not a set, but with the coloring, they are from the same series, Moderntone Platonite in Burgundy/Maroon. Over all I’m ok with what I spent.

Another find this week is a Fire King Candle Glow casserole dish. 432

Spotted this at my favorite consignment shop and have been keep my eye on it. I only paid $10 for even though it was set to drop to $5 this week. I figured I’ll just get it now because I’ll be working when the price drops. It’s been moved around on the shelves and I figured someone is going to buy when drops and I’ll be working.

I figured it wasn’t the risk of someone else getting it because I won’t be back until Saturday. Honestly I may have paid retail but I just wanted it.

Picked these up from a consignment store for $25

On the Orchard bowls, there were a total of three bowls and two lids as pictured. The original price was $55 and after a few months I picked up only $13. There are conditions but I still feel it was a good purchase for the five pieces.

The golden wheat milk glass came as a set of 8 cups and started at $48 but I got them for only $12. This was from a consignment store and prices drop every 30 days three times to a final sale price.

Basically I paid $1.50 each for the mugs. They should be Anchor Hocking but they’re unmarked.

Kidco, apparently it wasn’t what the movie portrayed.

The movie popped into my head and I decided to look it up. In the movie, it was supposedly about kids starting their own manure and fertilizer company. They ran into trouble because adult competitors turned them in for not paying taxes on their products. Which they did pay taxes on the feed. They won but had other charges they had to pay.

The reality, is Kidco was a tax shelter held by the family heirs of Cessna aircraft to purchase land. The children were well funded as heirs to Cessna. The kids did own Kidco, but they weren’t as innocent as the movie makes them out to be.

Looking back at the movie, I did feel for the kids, but finding out it was just a tax shelter for rich people, I don’t feel that way anymore.

In less than three weeks time, all worlds on the Aether DC have completed Cosmic Exploration Auxesia

We’d like to thank all those who have made this accomplishment possible and many will continue to work on their artifact tools.

So, was playing the Sponge Bob coin pusher today. I had played a few coins and noticed that it wasn’t registering the coins for credits or tickets. He came over and went behind the game to try and fix it. He pulled a part and then went into the back to see if he had a replacement part. Sadly he didn’t.

He asked if I had wanted the credits moved over to the other side of the game. I told him that I started playing as there was a Gary card under a Pearl card. He opened the game and handed me the two cards.

But from what it sounded like, they wouldn’t be able to repair the game. There was a post not too long ago that they no longer make replacement parts for the game anymore. If they don’t, I’m guessing it’s going to replaced. No idea with what.

The strip center it’s in is also seeking to redo the entire center into a mixed use development, so that location hopefully is looking for a new location. There is no timeline for the redevelopment.

You can download the patch already and then take a nap for when the servers are up.

ETA: This for PC, I don't know about game consoles.
