Waiting for an USD account that can ACH to and from the American payment rails!

What would happen if I needed to return a product that was free to me? Apple Support credited my accessory purchase as a goodwill gesture because of issues with a larger Mac purchase. They told me to buy anything up to a $150 and they would comp it. I've picked up the accessory but I don't like it.

Beggars can't be choosers, but can I return the product for a gift card? My original payment was already credited by Support so I'm not sure how a refund would work.

Edit: They didn't accept the return. I just wanted to see, I'm okay with keeping it. Learning experience!

I have a family member who has a RBC credit card and can transfer points to their Westjet account but was interested in using those points to pay for my checked bag fee. Is this possible? I see an option to log into account while checking out but not sure if it'd work considering name mismatch from account and booking reservation.

Bought a new home that came with a Schlage Connect and a Ring doorbell, does anyone have any ideas how they'd go on about selling these for the devices of their choice? I have a HomeKit home, and would need to replace the Schlage Connect with the Encode Plus.
