April Cornell?

April Cornell?

Anyone have experience with April Cornell? I really like the looks of this coat: Audrey wool coat

But I have no experience with this store. Any thoughts on quality, service, etc? Any other similar products from somewhere else?

Thanks!

Independent Living for senior citizen

Anyone have any information on prices and options for independent living for senior citizens in S.F. or closer in North Bay locations (Sausalito, Marin)?

My 90 year old mom currently lives in an independent living situation in the Midwest where she has her own apartment and they provide breakfast and dinner along with transportation and activities. For family reasons she may want to move to be closer to me in S.F.

Anyone have information on options and cost? Preferably in SF or just over the GGB? Thank you!

Series of books in interior design, very small paperbacks

About 15 years ago I checked out a series (3? 4? not sure) of books on interior design from a library in a place I no longer live. They were all by the same person (I think a male name.) They were smaller than the standard paperback and fairly thin. I remember illustrations, but maybe no photos. They had direct, simple to follow tips, like mix the wall paint color with white paint for the ceiling color.

Any ideas? I would love to read them again but can’t remember enough to find them.

Large indoor plants—current stock at TJs, Costco, etc

I’m looking for a fairly large indoor plant/tree to fill a corner in my dining room. Not too picky about what kind of plant, just something fairly easy to take care of.

Has anyone been to any of the SF Trader Joes lately and know what they have in stock? Or if Costco has anything in stock? Or other recommendations (preferably on the northwest end of the city) for something inexpensive?

Thank you!
