Hi,

I bought some of the Seeed Xiao nrf + wio board combos and in the data sheet it says 22dBm max power.

I live close to cell towers and need to use filters, as far as my experience shows so far with heltec devices. For the heltecs I bought expensive saw filters from a shop in Germany which support up to 28dB and have low loss.

But the Seeed nrf chips I bought for cheap optimized repeaters placed in the countryside. So no large investment wanted. I discovered cheap saw filters on AliExpress and bought some. They say max 20dB. Do any of you have experience with them? I'm sure some of you have already tested them.

Do I need to limit the repeater tx to 20 to not fry them? I know 22 is a lot more energy in mW than 20, but maybe they can manage that? I don't want to put my repeaters in hard to reach places and have them break down after 6 weeks.

I secured a new job with 700€ less net, but 28 vacation days, flexible and remote work, less responsibility and stress, a larger team and lots of small benefits, which also looks better on my CV in the future. What do you think?

ich wohne in einer WEG in einer Innenstadt. Das Haus wurde oberirdisch vor 20 Jahren praktisch neu gebaut, aber der Keller ist von 1870. Das Haus steht vorne direkt am öffentlichen Bürgersteig.

Dort haben wir drei Kellerfenster, aber nicht mit Lichtschacht, sondern die Fenster sind gerade so oberirdisch und außen mit schicken Edelstahl-Blechen verdeckt. Ähnlich wie hier nur hübscher: https://zuschnittprofi.de/wp-content/uploads/Kellerfenstergitter\_16x9\_nologo.jpg

Wichtig zu wissen an dieser Stelle: diese Gitter sind die einzige Abdeckung. Dahinter befinden sich keine Fensterrahmen und Fenster oder so. Sondern eigentlich halt nur ein Loch in der gemauerten Fassade mit nem Blech außen angeschraubt.

Es gibt dort also praktisch keine Abdichtung gegen eindringendes Wasser. Nun hat ein Nachbar mir mitgeteilt, dass er gesehen hat, dass bei Starkregen das Regenwasser vom öffentlichen Bürgersteig durch die Fensteröffnungen in den Keller läuft. Jetzt habe ich mir die Sache das erste Mal überhaupt genauer angeschaut: anscheinend wurde der Gehweg irgendwann mal neu gemacht und die Oberkante der Gehwegplatten ist nun tatsächlich so 2cm höher als die Unterkante unserer Kellerfensteröffnungen im Mauerwerk. Das davor geschraubte Lochblech versteckt das ganz gut, hält aber nicht wirklich Wasser ab.

Was würdet ihr in der Situation machen? Die WEG Kassen sind leer und der alte Keller muss gut belüftet bleiben gegen Feuchtigkeit.

Man muss hier nur wenige Zentimeter gewinnen, vermute ich, damit das Wasser diesen Weg nicht mehr nimmt. Wie würde man das halbwegs professionell oder gut gepfuscht machen?
