Anyone else use NGSS?

I’m starting at a private school (2-5th grade) and this will be my first time teaching. I’m having a hard time creating my lesson plans because I’m not sure how long each lesson will take the kids. Does anyone have a calendar or timeline they could share? Or give me any advice on how they create their calendars? Also, how often am I supposed to be giving quizzes/test/projects?

Sorry for all the chaos, I feel very alone in this and cannot find a lot of support.

My legs seem to hold every memory ever. I ripped off these scabs probably 1+ year ago now, but they still remain as a type of scar. I also bruise incredibly easily, so I’m not sure if my legs are just super sensitive or what. Are there any products that can help me get rid of these scab scars?

Thank you!

Ideas for classroom materials, STEM!

Hi! I’m starting my first year at a private school, and I’m able to create an Amazon wishlist for any materials I’d like. Can y’all give me suggestions of good equipment and materials you found necessary? I’ll be teaching 3-5th grade STEM. Thanks!!

Teachers of tomorrow - phase 2

Hi y’all! I have accepted a elementary private school position and began phase 1 of ToT last month. I plan on completing the coursework (hopefully) before the beginning of school, take my TExES next week, and have almost all my observation hours. However, I’m a little worried I might go over this timeframe a bit, and not finish phase 1 until a few weeks into the school year. Because of this, will my internship not qualify since it won’t technically be an entire school year length? I’m a bit confused. Any clarification would be helpful, thanks!!

I (F21 PIMO) recently engaged (M23 nevermo), and father wants me to get my endowment

My parents are divorced with my mom never becoming Mormon, so my dad understands that I’m not fully into it. However, he thinks me getting my endowment will “protect my future kids”, which idek what he means. Not sure how to get out of it. Also, he knows that I’m not going to try to convert my future husband, and he’s okay with it, although wishes I’d try. Just need some advice on how to get him to stop asking me about becoming endowed.
I’m tagged as PIMO since I’m still technically Mormon, although my dad kinda sees me slowly making my way out, which at the point, not sure what he’ll do.

Edit: thanks for all the quick responses! I know I’m being so childish and need to stand my ground, it’s just hard. Thank you guys for pushing me towards the right direction!!
