Extra long footer in the mobile version of my website

I am designing a website and my desktop version looks fine. The mobile view however gives me a very large background color underneath the footer and I cannot get rid of it. Does anyone have suggestions? I deleted the footer and that did not get rid of the extra space( see second photo). Please help.

Helpful KTEL bus info

This is the video to watch if you are nervous about navigating the main KTEL bus station.

I recently took the bus from Athens to Kalamata after watching it. One key difference—I was able to use a mobile ticket on this route. When I booked online I had to check a box stating I would have my ticket ready on a mobile device. At the station, I went to the information desk and confirmed that my digital ticket on my phone would suffice. Looks like select routes have moved to digital tickets.

I’ve been in Greece for a few weeks and I regret that I didn’t take advantage of the bus earlier. I’ll know for next time!

Location and trains

I’m traveling to Rome , and I’d like to know if I’ve selected a hotel in an area that is generally safe for a solo female traveler .

I'm staying at Lungotevere Suite (Lungotevere Degli Artigiani 20, Rome IT 153). It says it's close to Trastevere train station (6 min), but about a mile or 1.6 Km from Piramide Metro Station

I am considering doing a 1-night tour of Rome so that I can see the sights lit up.

1-Is this area safe for walking at night as a solo female?

2-Is the walk between this neighborhood and the metro  generally safe? I plan to take a train from the airport to my accommodation and use the metro every day. I don’t mind a a 15 min walk to the metro if the walk is well lit and there are ppl out and about.

I picked this hotel because of the pricing but I am willing to change. I'm open to recommendations of other neighborhoods that are affordable.

KTEL bus from Athens to Kalamata

I want to visit the Peloponnese region. I know safe is subjective but as a single female traveler will I be ok making this trip? I cannot drive. It looks like it’s a 3.5 hour ride. From what I can tell the bus station(Kifisou) is accessible by the Athens metro and will drop me off in city center of Kalamata.

Thoughts?
