Is leaving a shift early actually a termination?

Used to do this all the time at FedEx. If the Bs piled up I would just leave whenever time I wanted. But in the Amazon employee handbook, it’s saying leaving a shift early is a termination. Is this actually enforced?

Rehire cannot get into a to z

Everyone else in my orientation class got in fine, but every time I try to log in it says, “Your an Amazon employee now” create an account to login in. Every time I reset the password or make a new one it just sends me back to the sign in page. I’m stuck in an endless loop. They gave me the same Amazon alias I had last time

(Delivery station) How do I get inside first day?

My building doesn’t have a security desk, and to open the front door you need a badge. However, I Don’t have one yet as orientation is in a couple days. Is there someone standing outside holding the door for new hires on the day of orientation? Or, is it some kinda humiliation ritual where you stand outside the door and current employees walk past you and stare until a manager comes and grabs you for the orientation?

speed up of time

Anybody notice a time speed up. I don’t usually stay at jobs too long due to my mental health. I start a new job on Saturday and for the past week time has speed up. I’ve been sitting inside thinking about possible scenarios and outcomes of my first day, and for the past 3 days time has increased. The first day it was 9:36 am, I took a small nap and then it was 4pm. On the second day I took 2 hours to sit in my closet and think about the first day. And what felt like 30 mins of thinking was somehow 4 hours. I started thinking at 10:30 am and when I looked at the clock it was 2:16. I thought I was dreaming so I poked myself with a pin. Felt the pain, so now I think I’m going crazy or has anybody else noticed a time speed up

Process is potentially dangerous

I have the Juggernaut tactical ultimate jig. In the instructions you need a 5/16 collet, in order to be compatible with the 5/16 end mill included in the jig.Had to get a custom made 5/16 collet as I could not find any 5/16 collets on the market comparable with my Dewalt router. Well, the jig and all of my tooling came today. Drilled the main pocket holes fine, but here’s where I am running into some potentially dangerous issue. On the second plate, Using the router, Even with cutting fluid, the end mill just does not seem to like this material. It bites, jumps, screeches, asides from normal sparks, I even had some random flash of blue light come out of my router the second it made contact. Lower is made out of 6061 billet aluminum. Any tips or suggestions will be fine.

Thanks for bringing me back Jeff🫡

In 2 weeks I will be a soldier for Bezos once again. As one of his alumni, I get to skip pre hire appointments. These past 3 months laid off have been tough. I’ve had to resort to means no man should ever have to do to provide for his family and put food on the table. I have learned my mistake and will not take this job for granted again. I WILL NEVER FAIL YOU AGAIN MR BEZOS!

This is now the 3rd day my package has left its facility in California. Theres no way with modern technology and planes that it should take almost 4 days to get across country. I am very dissatisfied with this and you’ve guys have had some close calls to losing an almost 10 year customer. I paid for next day air

I missed jury duty 3 weeks ago. I honestly forgot about it because I was in the process of moving apartments, and had a lot on my mind. Cops haven’t came to my house yet, I’m not sure if I have a warrant or not. Every time I’m driving I’m nervous if I get pulled, they’ll tell me I have a warrant when they run my name. I’m planning to use hardship as a defense in court as I was in the process of moving if so.

I don’t need opinions, suggestions, or “just get an EZ jig/router jig” 🤓No one wants to wait months for shipping. JFC I just need to know if it’s possible to finish the Juggernaut tactical ultimate jig/ lower with a corded drill. Like if it’s physically possible. Because everybody keeps saying it isint. I don’t know if the company’s video is fake or something, but they used a crappy Dewalt corded drill, porter cable router, a standard bench vise, and the lower came out fine
